Harley had never planned to help Deadpool organize any wedding. She just wanted to have fun, to find some entertainment in Deathstroke's "Happy Home Universe."
They claimed they were going out to buy things for Deadpool's wedding, but as a psychology expert, Harley was exceptionally skilled at controlling people's hearts. Once they reached the shopping destination, she told the girlfriends she had just met:
"If you're attending someone else's wedding, you need clothes decent enough to be seen in, right?"
And so the whole thing went off track. What had begun as a plan to buy Deadpool some wedding supplies turned into a competition among the women to dress themselves up.
Because Harley was right. A wedding might not be as serious as an international conference, but it was still a large social occasion. Deadpool had apparently invited plenty of people, including plenty of women.
If the other women attended dressed like princesses, would you show up in an oversized T-shirt you usually wore while cooking?
Harley took advantage of people's instinctive urge to compare themselves with others and, with the Adjutant's permission, started a virtual robbery.
Hela was an old hand at armed robbery. After all, she was Asgard's eldest princess. Back when Odin was young, she had followed him in robbing countless realms, and she rather missed committing crimes after so long.
Gwenpool, on the other hand, was a rookie who had never experienced robbery before, but she had no psychological hang-ups whatsoever. Her wish was simply to survive and live well. As for how to achieve a high-quality life?
Once you were a Mercenary, how could you still fuss over so many moral concerns?
As for Daisy, she was even more eager to give it a try. Deathstroke had agreed to it anyway, so what was wrong
