After forcing their way through door after door, the group raced down the corridor, surrounded by robot wreckage.
Hawkgirl was still the one taking the lead. After passing through the final door into a spacious hall, she cautiously raised her mace and stared fixedly at a machine in the distance.
Not far in front of her stood a Grid unlike the other robots.
Though it looked similar in appearance, this robot possessed a different air about it. The others had the bearing of minions, while this one radiated danger.
Well, in Su Ming's view, it was really because this robot had made its entrance while seated. It had fashioned some sort of floating throne or vehicle out of metal, drifting in with considerable style.
Everyone else was standing, while it was sitting. That certainly made it different.
