To fool the enemy, he first had to fool his own side. Earlier, Su Ming had worked with The Flash to tell Cyborg plenty of plans—how to deal with the minions, how to hack into Grid, and what they were supposed to do next.
Unfortunately, that had all been a lie. Su Ming had long known that Cyborg suffered from Multiple Personality Disorder, so how could he possibly tell him everything?
Charlie had already proven it with herself as an example. Aside from Crazy Jane, who knew nothing, her other personalities could borrow other people's eyes to see certain things in the outside world.
Whatever had been said to Blazing Kitten was also known by the Circus Harlequin who appeared later, and whatever was discussed with the Harlequin was known by Driver Eight as well.
Following that logic, anything told to Cyborg was very likely known by Grid and Alien Cyborg too.
So after finding the "sleepwalking" Cyborg in the rainforest, much of Deathstroke's subsequent behavior had revolved around verifying that point.
For now, it seemed he had been right. But the final outcome still depended on Holy Arrival and Barry—whether they could truly blend the three programs together and let Cyborg's normal personality take control.
That was right. What Su Ming had said earlier, about personality fusion depending entirely on Victor himself, had also been a lie. How could anyone rely on a mere Cyborg for something like that?
Putting away the empty soda bottle, Su Ming picked up the cricket jar and held it as he looked around.
Hundreds of robots spewing sparks and black smoke at once was quite a spectacle.
The problem was that their internal short circuits had always burned out some components. The air was now thick with the pungent smell of scorched rubber.
