Etrigan was finally able to speak properly this time. He raised a hand and counted on his fingers, his sharp nails even longer than Cheetah's. "The second was the Alchemy Stone. I wasn't on good terms with him, so I don't know exactly what that stone did. But I heard that somewhere in our multiverse, there is a back door. Through it, one can reach the source of magic, gain all knowledge, and wield supreme power."
"Much like the Mobius Chair." Batwoman interjected. Of course, it was a question phrased as a statement.
The demon turned to glance at her and said with a contemptuous sneer, "Completely different. That broken chair is just a toy. It doesn't even have an answer to what my elder brother Lucifer truly is. Heh. Behind the door I speak of lies knowledge of 'everything.' Though it's only a legend. Believe it or not."
Batwoman did not believe it. She believed nothing, including herself.
Still, there was no harm in listening. So she merely nodded, the corners of her mouth dipping slightly, signaling for the demon to continue.
"It is impossible for you to find Merlin, because there is no way to determine which dimension he is hiding in. Not to mention the countless Pocket Dimensions and Secret Realms. Any of those could be a card in his hand."
The yellow-skinned Etrigan had a golden rope around his neck and looked rather obedient. The power of the Lasso of Truth compelled him to answer every question.
"You mean we should find That Door and wait for him there." Diana understood. If Merlin had
