Since Illyana wanted to fight a monster for fun, Su Ming went along with it.

When the enormous rotting black shadow landed, a wave of foul stench rushed over them, making the two feel as though they had been surrounded by countless Deadpools.

But Magik did not mind. She charged forward, swinging her greatsword, while Su Ming casually fired a few shots from his little pistol, merely providing support.

"Find anything?"

He asked Strangle, who was still rummaging through the nest's relics even during the fight.

Given Magik's strength, dealing with a radiation-mutated monster was incredibly easy. There was no chance of an accident, and the beast was spraying green fluid everywhere under her blade, making it utterly unsuitable for getting closer to join the fun.

Strangle indicated that it was still searching. There was a basement beneath these ruins, filled with bones. Perhaps some valuable little items had slipped through the gaps between the wreckage.

"By the way, if you see any synthezoids, dig them out and let me have a look. They're relics from the previous era before the Multiversal System rebooted, and they might be valuable, especially ones shaped like animals."

Deathstroke leaned against a broken stone pillar, firing intermittently at the sticky winged creature while also giving Strangle a few pointers on scavenging.

"Eek."

Hearing its host say that, Strangle immediately dug several severed limbs out from deep within the rubbish heap. They were all synthezoid components. Though time had destroyed their skin and flesh, a peculiar transparent skeleton had remained.

Looking at the maggots and pupal shells stuck to the skeleton during its excavation, Su Ming flicked it with a finger, listened to the sound, then shook his head.

"Some kind of plastic. Nothing valuable. Humanoid synthezoids in the Dark Tower world aren't worth
