As he fought the Nightmare before him—or rather, chased after him and hacked away—Su Ming recalled some information he knew.
That was roughly the deal with Uni-Force and Captain Universe. Later, Marvel retconned things again and claimed that Enigma Force was a Symbiote, but that explanation could not even justify itself, so it was most likely false.
Still, Uni-Force's abilities really were somewhat like those of Symbiotes. When it possessed a human, all of the host's physical disabilities would be repaired, except for mental deficiency. But once it left, the host would become disabled again.
It could also copy its hosts' abilities, so its current host could wield the powers of all its previous hosts.
After all, Wayfinder had brought it back from the Future, and it had then returned to a billion years ago. It had passed through who knew how many hosts in between, so the sheer variety of powers it possessed was easy to imagine.

There was only one problem. Uni-Force could be called the embodiment of righteousness, and every one of its hosts had to be a heroic figure with a shining personality. It represented truth, goodness, beauty, and light, so using it on Deadpool might be a little difficult.
But that was fine. Everything could be negotiated. Even the Dark Phoenix of the Phoenix Force could negotiate terms, and the Black Queen, host of the Goblin Force, could do the same. There was no reason Uni-Force would not want to negotiate with the Sorcerer Supreme, right?
