A group of people surrounded a prisoner, but they all wanted different things. Loki wanted a story. She wanted to know the angels' next plan so she could perform a miracle before Deathstroke.

Gwenpool's motive was simpler. She merely wanted to help Angela reunite with her Asgardian relatives and set the story back onto a track she knew.

As for Jessica, she was driven more by curiosity. As a detective, what she wanted most was the truth. For example, what Hevenheim was all about, what angels truly were, and why Angela had become what she was today.

The others did not care much about how things unfolded. Daisy was checking out the dead man's figurines, Squirrel Girl was pestering the Dark Hero trio with random questions, and Hela was playing a video game. No one was idle.

The three interrogators spoke over one another, and that actually made Angela waver. Even with blind guesses, some of their words had struck the mark.

Angela had always known that she was different from the other angels, but she did not know what she was.

After Hevenheim was severed from Yggdrasil, it had drifted through the void, developing in isolation for countless years. She had never had a chance to encounter other species in the universe.

But now, as she looked at Hela, Daisy, and Loki, at their Asgardian-style attire, Angela felt a stir in her bloodline, as though there had always been some connection between them.

In truth, none of the people actually connected to her were present.

Daisy was an Earthling. She had only become the God of Thunder because Deathstroke had gotten Mjolnir for her. She did not have even a trace of Asgardian blood.
