The battle was extremely difficult. Tony's Palm Repulsors and Chest Repulsor could barely inflict any effective damage on the giant monster before them. Hulk's attacks, on the other hand, seemed somewhat more effective.
But Hulk had completely lost control by now. Several of the enemy's attacks had seriously injured him, bringing with them berserk fury and strength that grew alongside his rage.
Unfortunately, the downside was that Hulk no longer recognized friend from foe. The Avengers had no way to coordinate with him. It was already good enough if he did not attack them.
Tony looked up at the angels who had risen high into the sky and sighed regretfully. He circled the battlefield in the air, providing support while constantly thinking of a way to eliminate the enemy.
Persisting like the captain was certainly moving, but these enemies clearly were not human. Winning by moving them was impossible.
He had to come up with a way for everyone to effectively harm these monsters. That was what a scientist should do.
"Energy attacks are the obvious choice. Physical attacks are clearly not very effective." He gave another ancient demon currently fighting Carol a thoroughly ineffective barrage with his Palm Repulsors, muttering to himself at the same time. "But where am I supposed to find energy? The nature of that energy matters too. Electricity and fire definitely won't work. Do I need spatial energy?"
