Damian, having attended Deadpool's wedding, could be considered far more worldly than before. Especially after seeing a group of characters from classic horror movies hunt down a bunch of unlucky fools called the Guardians of the Galaxy for fun, he had fully understood the differences between different Multiversal Systems.
However, what he wanted from this trip was neither "thrilling adventure" nor "proving himself." He had long since passed that immature stage.
Luthor had "kidnapped" Cyborg, and there was only one reason Damian had followed along: Cyborg had gone missing twice before, and Deathstroke had found him both times.
If he went missing again this time, that meant Deathstroke would appear again.
That was precisely what the boy had been counting on. He simply wanted to spend a little more time with his father.
As for Cyborg, he had once been a member of the Teen Titans. Though Nightwing had led the team back then, Damian had been too young to debut.
But from several visits and observations, the boy believed that without the Mother Box, Victor was truly useless.
Aside from giving everyone free internet access, he was nearly worthless.
After all, that Teen Titans team from back then was today's Teen Titans. Raven and Starfire were both on the team, so they had no need for Cyborg's meager energy projection abilities.
Even so, Deathstroke was still willing to save him. He definitely was not atoning on behalf of that old Deathstroke from Earth-0, which meant Cyborg truly possessed some clue Damian had yet to uncover.
Still, Damian did not care about the details. He only needed to follow along.
He sat expressionlessly on the armrest of Deathstroke's chair. Whenever someone looked at him, he merely looked back calmly.
