Challenger Deep, 11,000 meters underwater.
"Glub glub glub glub."
Deadpool clutched his throat and kept twisting about, seeming to say something.
But whether because the water pressure was too high or the golden light radiating from the wormhole was too dazzling, his bubbly voice was a little hard to understand.
The cat's fur drifted through the water like seaweed, yet the flame on its tail still burned, like a cheerful little candle—mischievous and lively.
It tapped the candle against the bastard, failing to ignite the nonflammable trash but allowing Wade to breathe underwater.
"Ah, the pressure's so high my internal organs exploded, Cousin, pressure pulse." Deadpool lowered his hands, rubbing his stomach in pain as he spat out a string of bloody bubbles. "If I didn't have a Healing Factor, I'd probably be ground meat by now, hey!"
"Five hundred."
Deathstroke observed the wormhole. The fissure here had already grown enormous, and golden light seeped out from the crack in the seabed, swaying with the seawater and illuminating a vast area nearby.
With no interest in arguing with his cousin, he casually tossed over five hundred US Dollars in old, nonconsecutive bills.
"What are we supposed to do? I heard the guys say you need Kaiju genes to pass through this hole. Did you prepare for that?"
Having received extra money, Deadpool naturally had no more complaints and immediately began focusing on the mission.
"Have Strangle imitate Kaiju DNA, then wrap us up. It's that simple." Even as he spoke, the Symbiotes had already begun to squirm, directly transforming into a miniature Kaiju, though it was entirely black.
It enveloped the two men and the cat inside itself, then swam toward the nearby wormhole like a Beast that had eaten someone and was returning to its nest.
