If they asked it where Gotham had the most mice or where there was a good place to sleep, it would probably be an expert.
Still, there was no harm in asking. Take a shot in the dark; maybe they would get lucky.
Since they had not gathered any intelligence today, Su Ming could ask Death or a Fifth-Dimensional Being whenever he had time next. Perhaps the Time Gods knew something too, or he could investigate the Great Caste's library.
There were plenty of ways. Su Ming had been getting by in DC for over half a year now, and he had built up some connections.
The escape of two men and a cat did not last long before a missile streaked through the sky. When it reached the air above the city, it suddenly exploded, its energy instantly blooming into the shape of a mushroom cloud.
"Alright, that's enough." Su Ming stopped walking, disappointment on his face. He stroked the cat's head. "Erase all of this. There's no need to watch any more. The Hand of the Void's imagination has disappointed me. No, I never should have expected anything in the first place."
"Meow!"
With that cry, everything in the world froze. The mushroom cloud in the sky, the city districts and people destroyed by the blast, the countless clouds of dust thrown into the air—even Joker Cow, wielding two long blades, was frozen in place with a smile on its face.
The next second, they all dispersed like smoke. All that remained was a bright white world,
