"Probably because of Odin." Gin could not really comment on that. She personally thought Asgard's customs were quite good—straightforward and requiring no excessive thought.

"I think I understand why you and Batwoman both liked hiding in the shadows to watch people." Diana had focused on something else. After hearing Gin explain the whole story and watching Loki's performance, she said, "Hiding in the dark really does let you see people's true nature. It's like standing atop a higher mountain."

She had realized something, and from there, grasped even more.
