"The Avengers' ship opened a... black hole?"
Jessica tilted her head. Their trio's ship was currently mixed in with countless Droplet ships along the distant departure orbit of the S.W.O.R.D. space station, utterly inconspicuous.
But when she saw the ship bearing the circled A emblem, positioned between Earth and the Moon, begin to glow all over and open a miniature wormhole before its bow before slipping inside with a whoosh, the detective still panicked a little.
Hadn't they lost them?
"Not a black hole, a wormhole. There's a huge difference in mass and gravitational effects on light."
Little Bug deeply admired Iron Man's technical expertise. He clenched his fists excitedly.
"Mr. Stark really is incredible. He already has technology like this? That's so cool. I wish I could become that amazing someday too. No... maybe I'll soon get to see an even greater project."
"What project? You're still in high school, aren't you?"
Squirrel Girl paused with her hand full of sunflower seeds halfway to her mouth, blinking her big eyes curiously.
"Yes, I'm a high school student, but I met one of the judges during a high school physics experiment competition."
Peter puffed out his little chest somewhat proudly as he explained to Doreen.
"He thought I had great potential for scientific research, so he invited me to visit his project soon. Do you know what it is? You'd better sit down. It's an Artificial Sun."
"Oh, if I remember correctly, an Artificial Sun is controlled nuclear fusion?"
Squirrel Girl, her mouth crooked, resumed eating nuts. Her big tail swayed a few times.
"Iron Man's Tokamak Device, the Arc Reactor, should be controllable miniature Cold Nuclear Fusion, right?"
Doreen had majored in computer science in college. She was not a physics professional, but she was hardly illiterate, so naturally
