Peter watched the transparent outline of the Avengers vanish into the sky and immediately began praising the girl in the captain's seat. Though she held a cigarette in one hand and a drink in the other, with one foot planted on the chair and no semblance of proper posture, she really did have the skills.
"Heh, I'm the best female detective in the multiverse. A bunch of so-called adults from the Avengers? Heh."
Her words brimmed with disdain for adults, because she had anticipated this long ago. The construction schedule for Tony's ship had been too short, so problems were bound to exist.
The issue was not the ship's materials. Iron Man was one of Earth's finest materials scientists; even Wakanda's materials technology might not surpass that of Stark and his father.
Nor was it the ship's speed. Having mastered a new jump technology at least proved that Iron Man had done plenty of research in that area.
Then the problem had to lie in the ship's systems.
Jarvis was a butler robot who could also assist Tony with scientific research. On Earth, he did seem fairly omnipotent. Iron Man was always calling for Jarvis this and Jarvis that, as though he were an electronic wishing machine.
But times had changed. Once they entered space, Jarvis had no stored data for space combat. He could only record things as they flew and carry out AI self-learning.
As for the medium-sized Droplet ship the three of them were riding, its Ship AI was a Split Program of Adjutant. Since they were acquaintances of Deathstroke, the three had some advanced permissions and could enjoy hidden functions, such as online interstellar livestreams or hidden recipes in the automatic cooking unit.
