The Goddess of the Underworld idly played with her nails, only occasionally glancing toward the battlefield as she said to him, "I can't sense any souls dissipating when they're destroyed. The battle itself was nothing remarkable. It was either malformed giant ribbonfish eating white paper people, or a crowd of white paper people grabbing a giant meatball and tearing it apart.

The scene was filthy, but the combat level was not particularly high. Though these minions were huge, the vanguard troops were only planetary-level at present, far weaker than Carol.
