Deadpool was thrown in, but there was no response for quite a while. They said a clay ox sinking into the sea vanished without a trace; his situation seemed much the same.
"Has contact been lost, Adjutant?"
Su Ming took a sip of liquor, unhurried. Deadpool could not die anyway, so what was the big deal about temporarily losing contact?
"Contact has been lost, Sheriff. I have also lost Deadpool's location. I still do not know the exact situation in the world before us, but it does not appear simple."
"Ha, no matter how complex a world's structure is, it cannot surpass the Dark Tower Universe. This flat slab merely has different rules." Su Ming stood up and stretched his neck, preparing to get moving. He had not forgotten to ask the Cockroach Prophet, "Ezekiel, are you sure our target is in there?"
"Yes. I am ninety percent certain."
The cockroach, seemingly drunk, stood upright on its two hind legs and swayed a little, though its English remained very standard.
As they spoke, there came a whoosh. A red-and-black figure fell from the sky and landed with a splat behind Deathstroke.
Who else could it be but Deadpool? But Wade was now terrified. Even through his mask, everyone could sense his panic. One hand covered his face while the other clutched his belt as he screamed, "Too dangerous! This universe is way too dangerous! I landed on an Earth where nobody wore clothes, and they were huge and white! They nearly swallowed me alive! If I had not reacted fast enough and had the Teleportation Belt on me, I-I might have lost my virginity today! Waaah!"
Hearing his incoherent explanation, everyone was left speechless. What sort of people would even make a move on Deadpool? Were they really that desperate?
