On the pedestrian-filled street ahead, the Tuxedo Skeleton was still sprinting with Superman slung over his shoulder. Diana, following several hundred meters behind, chased after him while chatting with Harley and Kara, sharing some of the intelligence she knew as one of the Justice League's Trinity.
After all, the Court of Owls was made up of Gotham's upper class. Those people were all wealthy, and in a capitalist society like the United States, the rich were always keen on politics. So the Court of Owls had deeply infiltrated the country as well.
The Court of Owls' downfall had been simple enough, but the chain of political turmoil it later caused in the United States had been anything but simple.
That was why Batwoman had given her and Superman some information back then. Though Diana had ended up doing nothing before Batwoman settled the problem, leaving her somewhat confused, she would not forget the intelligence she had heard.
If they encountered any remnants of the Court of Owls on this Timeline, she was not worried. At worst, she would just kill them.
She was not Batwoman. She really would kill people.
"Hey, no need to worry about it." Harley lay in Little Dai's arms, facing the sky so she could see that tiny black dot. "Talon assassins can't even beat me. Wouldn't Little Dai cleaning them up be as easy as playing around? Relax. Say, should we find something to eat on the way? Like, woo-woo, woo-woo."
Imitating the sound of a police siren, Harley even made steering motions with her hands. She meant that cops on surveillance always bought donuts to eat in the car. A detective who did not like donuts was not a good driver.
