"Human, you've enraged me!"
Amo leaped out of the bottom of the pit. He seemed to have shaken off the effects of The Batman Who Laughs Virus, and there was no trace of a smile left on his face.
This was somewhat unexpected, but honestly, they knew very little about the Gods of Oblivion. What Amo was capable of was completely unknown.
Normally, once a creature of flesh and blood was infected by The Batman Who Laughs Virus, it would almost certainly go mad. At the very least, it would be impossible to regain its sanity on its own so quickly.
But Amo was clearly an exception. The virus had only affected him for a moment. Perhaps the pain from getting beaten afterward had helped him wake up and reclaim his reason.
And apparently, even that brief loss of control had left him humiliated and furious. His face was flushed red, and veins bulged across his forehead.
"Actually, Superman isn't human. He's a Kryptonian." Deadpool had somehow reached the front line. Hiding behind Superman, he poked out his head, casually tore off a tentacle growing from his butt, and hurled it at Amo. "You can't even tell whether someone's human. What a loser."
After saying that, he ducked back behind Superman and continued using him as a shield.
When Amo had been flying overhead earlier, the bastard had been cursing him out from underground and demanding a one-on-one fight.
But now that the other side had come down, he had chickened out again, hiding behind Superman. Clearly, he intended to stage a righteous group beating.
"Actually, I'm no different from humans, Deadpool. I can feel all the good things that humans can feel. We share the same ideals and beliefs, as well as a common vision."
Superman watched Amo's movements
