After giving a perfunctory response, Su Ming said nothing more. He had to appear indifferent to God's family affairs; that was probably the attitude God wanted to see.

For a moment, the dog said nothing either. Its dark, glossy eyes watched the Ferris wheel turning in the distance, its little red tongue hanging out of its mouth.

"Want something to eat?"

After a while, Deathstroke snapped his fingers, and the Synthezoid beside him immediately handed over a steaming grilled sausage. He held the food out before the little dog.

Voice of God did not refuse. It took the sausage in its mouth, set it between its front paws, and tore off a bite.
