"So, are you going to find the Joker?"
Blinking, Deadpool looked at Cousin, his white lenses carrying the unmistakable excitement of someone eager to watch a spectacle.
The basement was only so large, and the dry air was filled with the stench of rot coming from him. Probably only Su Ming could survive here for long, but it was inevitable that his mood would worsen.
"No. The Record Keeper's position should be neutral. He isn't someone who absolutely has to be killed. What I need to do is keep driving him away and prevent him from learning my intelligence. At least, not for now."
When Deathstroke talked business, his tone was a little harsh. He knew he couldn't be too gentle with his cousin, or the bastard would only push his luck and become even more obnoxious.
"From the way you describe him, he sounds like a paparazzo. The Source's paparazzo, even."
Sniffling, Deadpool nodded as though he had understood something. He scratched his ass and continued watching Little Superman slaughter the Lizardfolk with Cousin.
"You can be sure he doesn't have much hostility, but you can't guarantee that the intelligence he discovers won't be seen by The Source, so you have to stay on guard against him? Ah, looks like that handstand earlier really did work. My mind is so clear now."
"It's not that simple, but it's not bad that you managed to see the second layer."
Su Ming, accustomed to mysticism, chuckled and slowly shook his head. He floated in midair, smoking, while the smell of nicotine covered part of Deadpool's natural body scent.
"You don't need to worry about these things for now. But after you finish your work on Earth Prime, I do have another job for you. Have you heard of the Hand of
