Hypertime was a metaphysical collection of concepts. It had no physical form; if it had to be described, it was like a network containing all time and all space.
Every story—those that had happened, were happening, or had yet to happen, even mere thoughts—was contained within it.
Meanwhile, in neighboring Marvel, the Marvel Omniverse referred to the sum of all known and unknown things that existed and did not exist, including the real world and everything humanity could imagine or fantasize about.
The two collections of concepts were more or less equivalent, though no one could say for certain whether there were subtle differences between them.
However, when Girl God told Deadpool that she would use her universe to overwrite the existing Hypertime system, that was merely a way of making it easier for humans to understand. In reality, it was not that simple.
With Deadpool's brain, expecting him to remember anything complicated was unrealistic.
At some unknown point in time, in a corner of the boundless void, Hypertime itself seemed to lift a small corner like the hem of a girl's skirt fluttering in the breeze.
Hypertime had once nurtured countless lives and witnessed the rise and fall of countless civilizations, but over the long years, even time itself had inevitably begun to show signs of wear.
Suddenly, a dazzling light tore through the darkness of the eternal night. A brand-new power slipped in beneath the "hem," then violently collided with the ancient Hypertime. The fierce reaction was like oil poured onto raging flames, and the invisible shockwave it produced swept through every Timeline and every Multiverse, blowing away all dust and ruins.
An invisible wind arose, as though erasing the dust and traces left behind by the past. Hypertime was renewing itself, taking on an entirely new form.
