Sliding Upward

From a certain perspective, the DC Universe now resembled a convex shape, while the Marvel Universe looked concave.

That protruding section was Multiverse 1, an enclave fiercely contested by the old and new Gods.

As they slid upward through dimensions, they could see scenery normally hidden from view. It felt like shifting to another level to overlook something originally immense, until it gradually became a set of complex patterns on a flat plane.

The slide was like a river of stars suspended above reality, running from distant nebulae straight to the massive black hole at the center of the galaxy.

The slide, once death-Barbie pink, had changed color. It now stretched infinitely ahead, dazzling like the stars, as though it had been pieced together from the radiance of countless twinkling lights.

Its surface was smooth as glass, reflecting the glow of the starscape. Better yet, it was not smeared with Deadpool's shed skin or mucus. That was pretty nice.

On both sides lay a vast sea of stars, speckled with light, beautiful and mysterious. Many flashing comets flew alongside them, as though they were racing each other. It was rather amusing.

But the boundless Great Black Hole in the distance emitted a faint pull, symbolizing the power and the unknown of the universe. Looking at it made it hard to laugh with any sense of caution.

This was a journey beyond time and space. Their destination was likely somewhere within that unknown black hole ahead, probably the path to the Fourth Dimension.

The black hole they could see at the moment was most likely imagined. It might not truly exist; it merely appeared this way because that was Deathstroke's understanding of it. Thus, it should look different in the eyes of different people.

Just as there was a different Hamlet
