Deadpool had been about to shoot the breeze with Lucifer for a while longer, but the next second, he shut up. Beyond the distant boundary of the Megaverse, a cloudlike black shadow seemed to gush rapidly from a singularity.
He had never seen CAAT before, but once the guys in the livestream told him, he knew the real deal had arrived.
"Isn't that thing way too huge? I thought it would enter the Megaverse, but its main body isn't even here when it attacks?"
"Don't rush, Deadpool. It should be choosing its prey right now. It devours one multiverse at a time, so this isn't the time for us to act yet. You know what to do, right?"
"Yeah, wait for you to throw me out there." Deadpool began doing Broadcast Gymnastics on the spot, starting with a little warm-up. "Whichever one it eats, that's where I go. Once I'm inside its body, I'll find a way to work with Cousin."
"Fine, but I have to say, you brothers are both crazy. Whether it's actively going to find its lair at a higher level or delivering yourself right into the enemy's mouth like this, the risks are far too high."
Lucifer gave Deadpool an appreciative look. He had always admired humanity's courage.
To him, humanity's virtues had always been wonderful in themselves. Even the flaws of human nature looked like strengths in his eyes. In short, everything about humans was great. He loved them to death.
As they spoke, CAAT began to move. Contrary to the imagined slow devouring, it was incredibly swift, as though it had extended a black tentacle from beyond the Megaverse and lunged at one unfamiliar multiverse within it.
