As Deathstroke spoke, he glanced behind him and waved at Farys, who had just awakened by the pond some distance away, inviting him over to have something to eat as well.
"If you represent love, then it represents hatred. If you represent existence, then it represents nothingness. If you represent 'Heaven,' then it represents the 'Abyss.' My intelligence was correct, wasn't it?"
Farys quickly shook his head from over there. Clearly, he had no intention of coming over. Then again, Deathstroke was probably the only one who could keep calmly eating under The One Above All's overwhelming pressure.
Even as one of the Three Sages, Farys still feared The One Above All. It was like knowing that a tiger had never eaten anyone, yet still not wanting to sleep beside it.
It was not that he was timid. Deathstroke was simply too bold. Those forceful words alone were things no normal person would dare say to The One Above All.
"Basically correct." Gold Face gave an affirmative answer, though its bloodshot eyes remained fixed on Deathstroke. It wanted to know why he intended to deal with the seemingly unrelated TOBA before going after CAAT.
It had its own thoughts as well, but maintaining stability on certain levels was more important to it.
Unfortunately, things were indeed somewhat unbalanced now. TOBA was clearly stronger, and its side felt somewhat overwhelmed.
The main reason was that TOBA and CAAT had far too much in common when it came to destruction and creating chaos. Its evil twin seemed to be planning to borrow momentum.
