"It's here after all."
In the Magic Castle atop the Roof of the World, the bald female mage set down her teacup. The surface of the butter tea rippled slightly, giving off a burst of Golden Light. She looked toward the woman in red leather beside her. "Come on. We're going to the Chaos Dimension together. I hope your Chaos Magic can stall it for long enough."
"I'll do my best, Ancient One." Wanda raised a hand and summoned a crimson Teleportation Portal. Like a halo, it appeared before the two of them. Beyond it, chaotic energies churned madly, like flames stirred by a Twister. "But Master, you shouldn't come with us. Someone still needs to stay behind at Kamar-Taj."
"I know. Phew~~~" Monark nodded, his pipe clenched between his teeth. "I'm not some young hothead anymore, insisting on showing off when something's clearly beyond my capabilities. I know CAAT isn't something I can fight. Staying on Earth is the best arrangement. You two be careful."
Strictly speaking, Monark was not a member of Kamar-Taj. But considering his relationship with two generations of Sorcerer Supreme, not to mention his respectable strength, he was more than qualified to temporarily guard the core of the Earth Protection Spell Formation.
"Whether we'll be safe really depends on Deathstroke, haha." Ancient One laughed and clapped her hands together. Forming a hand seal, she wrapped herself in a layer of Golden Light and stepped through The Doorway representing Chaos. "But no matter what, I believe he can solve this problem. You just need to wait for our return and prepare a feast."
With that, the two departed. The Doorway of Chaos closed, and the papers and cloth that had been tossed about by the fierce wind gradually settled. Only Monark's pipe continued to sizzle.
