Mouse's explanation was less for Deadpool than for Deathstroke.
When Su Ming first saw The Batman Who Laughs appear again, he had indeed felt sick enough to puke. But after hearing Mouse's explanation, he thought of another possibility.
"So that's it. A Qlippoth—a costume suit. You gave me quite a scare." Deathstroke shook his head, then simply walked toward The Batman Who Laughs, stepping onto the staircase where the other stood one step at a time. "I designed your death. Is there anything else you want to say?"
Qlippoth came from Hebrew and meant "the opposite." The famous Kabbalah Tree of Life had an opposing side, a shadow tree, and that shadow tree was called the Qlippoth, the Tree of the Opposite.
Under The One Below All was a special race. They had no combat ability whatsoever. Their sole power was to sense the lingering resentment and hatred on others, then manifest the dead who had once been killed by those people. After that, they would begin playing those deceased individuals and speaking on their behalf.
As for whether what they said truly came from the dead men's resentment, or whether they improvised after getting into character, Su Ming had no idea. He only knew they were bizarre creatures skilled at psychological warfare.
After all, in the comics he had read in his previous life, The One Below All was practically just a background character. Who cared about its underlings?
Their race was called the Qlippoth, though Su Ming preferred the freer translation—costume suits. The latter was obviously more fitting. Every member of this race was a suit actor.
Now that he recognized what they were, there was nothing to be nervous about. These enemies were merely actors, and their combat ability could be ignored.
