The method might have been a little underhanded, but as long as it worked, that was enough. The instant Deathstroke and Deadpool carried Mouse into TOBA's mouth, everything seemed to pause for a brief moment.
The next instant, TOBA's body melted away like snow. In just a few seconds, it vanished without a trace.
Abyss trembled a few times as well. Though it did not collapse, the clouds in the sky shifted from red to green, then from green to black, as though they had lost all life. After the wind and clouds surged, everything became deathly still.
The situation now was that the two of them stood in midair holding Mouse, surrounded by silence. The enemy had been eliminated just as expected—erased from a higher level.
"Hehe, looks like it worked, Cousin. Disney may have acquired Marvel, but it obviously wouldn't allow TOBA to eat Brother Mouse here. Plus, the two of us are pretty popular too—at least more popular than TOBA—so it got erased, while we're perfectly fine. A complete success!"
"Sigh, you young people are always looking for shortcuts." Mouse rolled his eyes and smacked Deadpool with a forepaw. "Why haven't you put me down yet? And this can't be considered a success. It's actually a failure. Do you know you broke an important balance? This is the balance that keeps the power system in the story from collapsing."
Though he said that, Mouse did not sound stern. He was merely a little resentful, which probably meant he had a way to clean up this mess.
"Oh, right. Ah, I forgot again." Deadpool looked at Deathstroke and shrugged apologetically, speaking as though he were shirking responsibility. "The previous plan was to capture TOBA, wrap him up, and send him back to TOAA as a supplement, then have
