Perhaps because of their camaraderie from World War II, or perhaps because Monark had produced evidence of rescuing Namor back then, Namor—prickly and somewhat effeminate—gave Monark Attilan's location over Magic Communication after making plenty of harsh threats.
Su Ming did not show himself. Monark handled all the communication; it was better if Namor did not learn his true identity.
Just as Dracula had said, Attilan was now located over the Atlantic Ocean—not in the sea, but in the sky.
They possessed extremely advanced technology, so even in an era without satellites, the entire city could hide within the clouds. From below, it might have looked like an unformed tropical cyclone.
Who would care how large a patch of clouds was? Much less a city in the clouds. Every adult knew Santa Claus and those stories were not real.
According to Namor, if any filth from Attilan fell into the sea, or if that ruined city crashed down and caused a tsunami, he would never let Monark off the hook.
Su Ming merely laughed at such utterly toothless nonsense. If he could put Namor back together, he could naturally take him apart again.
So after brushing Namor off, Su Ming immediately gestured for Monark to cut off the Magic Communication and open a Teleportation Portal for Hela and him.
Splash.
Splash.
The two of them landed in the seawater.
There was no helping it. Beneath the coordinates Namor had provided lay Atlantis, while Attilan was directly overhead. Su Ming needed to observe the situation first; he could not simply swagger straight into the city.
"December. The perfect season for winter swimming. This water temperature reminds me of your Underworld." Su Ming patted Cloak, took Hela's hand, and the two floated upward.
"The Underworld has no water." Hela's reply was equally blunt.
