Tanith's husband was named Symak. He was a member of the Gene Council and held considerable power. Their son would be named Agon and become the Supreme Speaker of the Gene Council.

Agon would also marry a woman who worked at an infant cultivation center. Their son would be Blackagar Boltagon, known as Black Bolt.

In other words, Tanith was actually Black Bolt's grandmother.
