A few days later, Long Island, New York.

Warm sunlight spilled over him as Su Ming sat quietly behind his desk, slouching like Ge You as he idled away like a salted fish.

He narrowed his eyes, watching the Adjutant quietly upgrade its programming while also watching Gin happily pace around the room, moving the spoils she had brought back from place to place.

Asgardians were always interested in spoils of war. No matter what it was, as long as it had been seized from a battlefield, Gin liked it.

"Boss, can fragments of a Celestial be used to forge weapons?"

Gin picked up the chunk of heel Su Ming had dug out and turned it over repeatedly in her hands. Like the Celestial Variant's body, it was a dazzlingly red metal.

"Hard to say. I don't know if there's currently a furnace capable of melting a Celestial's shell. It was perfectly fine even inside the sun. Maybe you could visit the dwarven realm and look up some acquaintances."

Gin tilted her head and thought for a moment before giving an "Mm." After smiling and setting the metal down, she turned to examine a suit of armor nearby.

It was an antique set taken from the Brotherhood of the Shield, magical equipment whose exact nature still needed Kamar-Taj's appraisal. In any case, Su Ming did not trust the Holy Shield's explanation.

Though the armor was likewise gleaming silver, it was not Valkyrie's Norse style. It looked more like a sculpture brimming with artistic beauty.

It stood there like a divine maiden, with a slender waist and a proud chest. Decorative little metal flowers adorned it everywhere. The mask bore the face of a beautiful woman, with two dark crimson streaks beneath its eyes, as though bloody tears had flowed down.
