Deathstroke infiltrated the TVA, killed Kang the Conqueror, and took control of the agency as Earth-616 descended into panic. He then set plans in motion to secure Earth-616’s lifeboat and graft Olympus’s Golden Apple Tree onto Yggdrasil, leaving him and Loki disguised inside Olympus Sanctuary.

• Beta Ray Bill accepted Deathstroke’s offer to rescue his people, and the group traveled to Loyalty Academy before Deathstroke summoned Hoggoth for help locating the TVA.
• Deathstroke, Loki, Jessica, and Deadpool reached the TVA, learned about its timelines, and disguised themselves as guards to move through its towers.
• Deathstroke’s group captured Judges and used disguises and a staged illusion to lure Kang, who revealed himself after impersonating Loki and using Thor as bait.
• Deathstroke trapped Kang in No-Time, defeated and killed him with Strangle’s help, then rescued Thor and returned with him to Loki.
• Deathstroke took control of the TVA, installed the Adjutant, and learned that the Beyonders had destroyed Starlight Citadel as Earth-616’s panic spread.

Deathstroke maneuvered through the collapse of the two Earths, gathered survivors, and began shaping the reborn Multiverse around Earth-40K. As he recruited help against the Black Pharaoh, a new interdimensional threat emerged and drew the Justice League’s attention.

• Deathstroke and Loki stole the Golden Apple Tree from Olympus, then used the tree and Loki’s illusions to escape Athena’s suspicion.
• Deathstroke watched Earth-616 and Earth-1610 approach collision, stopped Phoenix-controlled Cyclops, and left the Phoenix loose as the worlds collided.
• Deathstroke welcomed the Ark’s survivors to Contraxia and planned to send Ultimate Iron Man, Susan, Franklin, Valeria, and Carol to a zombie-plagued Earth.
• Deathstroke met Old Man Li and used the Golden Apple Tree to graft new growth onto Yggdrasil, then enlisted Li against the Black Pharaoh.
• The Black Pharaoh offered Deathstroke forbidden knowledge, but withdrew after Deathstroke rejected him, while Mr. Li warned against bringing Outer Gods into the story.

Deathstroke investigated Cyborg’s disappearance and led a team into the Consciousness Layer, where they followed clues through shifting mental worlds to search for Chief. As Deathstroke bargained with Scarecrow to track Chief, the story also shifted to a wanderer returning after the Source Wall’s destruction and Wales seeking an old box.

• Deathstroke exposed an impostor who detonated an Omega-powered bomb, then warned the Justice League that anyone could be impersonated.
• Deathstroke investigated Cyborg’s empty house and learned from Nightwing that Cyborg had gone missing after asking for an examination of his body.
• Deathstroke found Cyborg and Chief wired into a machine in the Doom Patrol’s laboratory and entered Cyborg’s mind with The Flash and Hawkgirl.
• Deathstroke’s team crossed several consciousness worlds, found Chief’s tracker, and fought future versions of Cyborg who warned that Darkseid would engulf them in darkness.
• Deathstroke tracked the team to Cyborg’s mental version of Detroit, where Hawkgirl found Chief’s damaged wheelchair and a boot in the sewers.
• Deathstroke negotiated with Scarecrow, offering a chicken’s soul in return for help tracking Chief by his toenail clippings.
• A wanderer returned to his former dimension after the Source Wall’s destruction, while Wales arrived at a bookstore and asked its owner about an old wooden box.

Su Ming and the Justice League tracked Cyborg through the Consciousness Layer and prepared him to confront Grid. As Su Ming uncovered the Mother Box’s role in Cyborg’s divided consciousness, Merlin opened a sealed door elsewhere, releasing an unknown darkness.

• The old man stole Lovecraft’s manuscripts from Mr. Buryman, freed a tentacled creature that melted him, and vanished with the pages.
• Rory told Detective Chimp how he lost faith in The Spectre, and Zatanna’s attempt to reconstruct Mr. Buryman’s murder was shattered by a magical trap.
• Su Ming’s group found Cyborg hiding in a prehistoric forest, and Deathstroke explained that Grid wanted to use Cyborg to complete its personality puzzle.
• Deathstroke led the group through Charlie’s mindscape, where Nobody joined them and used her power to make Grid’s robots destroy one another.
• Su Ming’s team fought through Grid’s forces and captured an Alien Cyborg, while Holy Arrival joined them as a professional hacker.
• Su Ming concluded that the many Cyborg copies were linked through one consciousness, used Godslayer to disable them, and connected Cyborg to a laptop.
• Merlin killed Ainala Rostu, took her sword, and opened a sealed door whose three hundred and sixty magical seals gave way to pitch-black light.
• Su Ming found the Mother Box in Cyborg’s subconscious and explained how it had become a mother figure to him, then planned to use it to strengthen Cyborg.
