Ch. 4385Sun God

Su Ming and his team visited Ty-El’s home on New Krypton, where Ty explained the return of Rao and the rules imposed by Van-Zee. The team left to seek Van-Zee, while H'el departed and an unseen observer watched them from the forest.

  • Su Ming posed as Handsome Zod and told Ty-El a fabricated story about surviving the Phantom Zone.
  • Ty-El welcomed the group into his home, treated them to red juice, and said the real Rao had returned.
  • Su Ming asked why Kryptonians did not fly in the city, and Ty-El explained that Van-Zee had forbidden it to keep the sky sacred to Rao.
  • Ty-El directed the group to meet Van-Zee, so Handsome Zod led his teammates away.
  • H'el emerged from the house, called the Zod family war maniacs, and flew off into the sunlight.
  • A figure in black-and-yellow armor watched the group from the distant forest before withdrawing behind a tree.

Ch. 4386Action Begins

Deathstroke’s team entered Kandor to find Van-Zee and learn what had happened to New Krypton, while an uneasy sense of being watched followed them. In Gotham, the Justice League struggled to contain the Last 52 Legion without killing them, until Green Arrow and Canary spotted a comet plunging toward the city.

  • Damian told Deathstroke that someone had been in the basement, and Strangle confirmed that it had sensed a sleeping person inside.
  • Donna said she felt watched, and Deathstroke told the group to withdraw immediately if he gave the order.
  • Deathstroke led the team into Kandor from the ground and set out for the council hall to find Van-Zee.
  • In Gotham, Superman and the others used anesthetic gas to subdue Jigsaw and began trying to save both him and his organ donors.
  • Guy Gardner complained about the Justice League’s no-killing rule, but Green Arrow and Canary stopped when they saw a comet falling toward Gotham.

Ch. 4387Dark Protection

Deadpool’s team survived the impact of two colliding fighters in Gotham, then stopped Diana from joining the Justice League by having Shakara ambush her and Deadpool knock her unconscious with his foul sock. Adjutant arranged to retrieve Diana and sent the team a new guide, whom Wade greeted with enthusiasm.

  • A glowing attacker collided with Superman above Gotham, and the resulting shockwaves devastated the city as Deadpool’s team sheltered behind Jason, Mike, and Pinhead’s magic.
  • Diana recognized Clark fighting a humanoid blaze and told Deadpool’s team she intended to join the Justice League.
  • Deadpool ordered Shakara to ambush Diana, and he used his unwashed sock to make her faint.
  • Adjutant told Deadpool that Sheriff was unavailable, arranged to retrieve Diana, and announced a new guide was arriving.
  • A new guide teleported in, greeted Wade, and urged the team to follow her to a fun place in Gotham.

Ch. 4388A Smell Through the Wall

Su Ming led his team through Kandor while monitoring the Last Day crisis on Earth-0 and adjusting his plans. At the city Archon's office, Strangle smelled blood behind an unanswered door, leaving Su Ming wary of a possible trap.

  • The Adjutant showed Su Ming that Wade had knocked out Diana after she tried to return to Superman's fight against Last Day, and she moved Diana to Harley's camp.
  • Su Ming ordered the Adjutant to evacuate his acquaintances, give Wade's team Artificial Kryptonite, and send the stranded Doom Patrol to guard the Hall of Justice in Washington D.C.
  • Su Ming took his team into Kandor's council building to find Van-Zee, using the House of Zod emblem to pass the guards.
  • At the Archon's office, nobody answered the team's knock, and Strangle smelled blood inside, making Su Ming suspect a trap.

Ch. 4389At a Disadvantage

Su Ming searched Van-Zee’s office and enlisted Bobo and Damian to investigate a pool of blood. Meanwhile, Last Day overwhelmed the heroes, leaving J’onn’s fate unknown as Green Arrow was urged to find a way to stop the attack.

  • Su Ming opened Van-Zee’s office and found a pool of blood beside the bed.
  • Su Ming sealed the room and sent Bobo to investigate, while Damian joined him to search for clues.
  • Bobo and Damian argued over Deathstroke’s nickname for the gorilla as they examined the office.
  • J’onn saw Last Day’s flames, froze in terror over memories of his family’s deaths, and was struck out of the atmosphere.
  • Guy Gardner called on Green Arrow for a plan while he and Superman struggled against Last Day.

Ch. 4390Messiah

Green Arrow’s plan to restrain Last Day with Kryptonite failed, and Last Day prepared to destroy Earth. John Constantine intervened from afar by reflecting Last Day’s Heat Vision, drawing the villain’s attention.

  • Green Arrow ordered Guy Gardner to project a giant Kryptonite shield, and Superman urged Guy to follow the plan.
  • The Kryptonite weakened Superman but had no effect on Last Day, who shattered the shield and destroyed Guy’s Power Ring and arm.
  • Last Day noticed that Superman, Guy, Green Arrow, and Black Canary had disappeared, then threatened to destroy Earth with Heat Vision.
  • Last Day’s Heat Vision rebounded off a magical defense, and John Constantine revealed himself atop a building fifteen kilometers away.
  • Last Day charged through the buildings and attacked Constantine.

Ch. 4391Another Self

Su Ming and his companions investigated Van-Zee’s disappearance and concluded that a magic-using attacker had taken him. Su Ming realized the group was standing over a Kryptonite bomb, but it exploded before they could escape.

  • Su Ming showed the team footage of Constantine using magic to stop Last Day from destroying Earth, and explained that Constantine could counter powerful threats by sacrificing himself.
  • Bobo and Damian found that Van-Zee had lost about 800 CC of blood but was likely alive, and that a solid Kryptonite weapon had been used against him.
  • Bobo concluded that Van-Zee had either been swallowed by a creature or taken away by magic, since there were no signs that he had left the house.
  • Su Ming inferred that another Deathstroke had followed them and planted a trap beneath the floor, then raised defenses around the group.
  • The floor exploded, engulfing Su Ming and the others in a green cloud of Kryptonite dust.

Ch. 4392Communications Officer

Su Ming and his team were trapped in Van-Zee's office after a magical Deathstroke framed them for a Kryptonite bombing, cutting off their communications and turning Kandor against them. Su Ming sent Wally to Sepulk to order the Adjutant to unleash the World-Destroying Flood on New Krypton, while the team prepared for the Kryptonians closing in.

  • Su Ming realized the other Deathstroke had captured Van-Zee and planted a Kryptonite bomb to frame the team as terrorists.
  • Su Ming found that Boom Tube communications and the Spider Totem could not reach outside help.
  • Donna prepared to fight as the Kryptonians began closing in on the office.
  • Su Ming ordered Wally to go to Sepulk and tell the Adjutant to unleash the World-Destroying Flood on New Krypton.
  • Wally hesitated because he thought Su Ming meant to destroy the planet, and Su Ming explained that the order meant flooding it with adjustable amounts of water.

Ch. 4393Tragic Man

Su Ming prepared to fight H'el, a powerful Kryptonian who had appeared despite supposedly being frozen outside the Timeline. As Wally went to summon help, Su Ming armed his gauntlet with Kryptonite and considered H'el's history and the threat posed by another Deathstroke hiding nearby.

  • Su Ming taunted the angry H'el from behind the protective barrier while Wally sped off to alert others.
  • The thinning green mist revealed H'el, and Bobo warned Su Ming that he could overpower even Clark and Kara.
  • Su Ming attached Kryptonite to his gauntlet and dismissed H'el's strength while identifying the hidden Deathstroke as the greater danger.
  • Su Ming recalled how H'el had been created as a clone, tried to resurrect Krypton, and eventually became its tyrant in an altered Timeline.
  • Su Ming remembered that the final H'el variant had been frozen outside the flow of time, yet H'el now hovered nearby, ready to fight.

Ch. 4394Finding Old Six

Su Ming flooded New Krypton to flush out Old Six while stopping H'el from intercepting the water and fighting him. H'el was weakened by Kryptonite and left trapped in Su Ming's grasp as Strangle put more Green Kryptonite in his mouth.

  • Wally returned to the team as the Adjutant began pouring water onto New Krypton from countless planets.
  • Su Ming sent Donna to protect the others and charged through the Kryptonite dust to attack H'el.
  • Su Ming grabbed H'el and hurled him into the rising black seawater before taunting him as Handsome Zod.
  • H'el emerged from the water and attacked Su Ming, who caught his punch and questioned his memories of having a brother.
  • Strangle flicked a piece of Green Kryptonite into H'el's mouth while Su Ming held him.

Ch. 4395The Villain

Su Ming used Kryptonite and soda to weaken H'el, but another Deathstroke’s magic interrupted the fight. After H'el removed the Kryptonite from his stomach and attacked with Heat Vision, Su Ming reflected the beams and his team overwhelmed him, while the Kryptonians below called for Kal-El.

  • Su Ming forced H'el to swallow Kryptonite and soda while Strangle helped hold him in place.
  • A magical black hole appeared, and Cloak pulled Su Ming and H'el out of its path before it vanished.
  • Su Ming brought his teammates to support him and spread more Kryptonite around H'el.
  • H'el clawed into his own abdomen to remove the Kryptonite, then attacked Su Ming with Heat Vision.
  • Su Ming reflected H'el’s Heat Vision with his Lightsaber, and the House of Zod members surrounded and subdued H'el.
  • The Kryptonians watching from the floodwaters called out for Kal-El to save New Krypton.

Ch. 4396A Hacker's Ambition

After the heroes escaped to Limbo, Batwoman questioned Ulysses about his connection to “My Lord.” He revealed that he had sold Brother Eye to the mysterious buyer, leaving the heroes to confront the danger of the AI.

  • Batwoman treated Clark and Guy while Green Arrow and Black Canary worried about J'onn and how long Constantine could distract Doomsday.
  • Batwoman tortured Ulysses until he admitted that he had found Batwoman’s encrypted digital space and discovered Brother Eye’s source code.
  • Ulysses explained that he had modified Brother Eye into a voice assistant and advertised it online, hoping to attract buyers and become wealthy.
  • Ulysses said “My Lord” had bought Brother Eye but tried to kill him afterward, so he fled without receiving the promised money.
  • Green Arrow told Ulysses that he had unleashed an electronic demon destined to cause a machine crisis and kill humanity.

Ch. 4397Change the Sun Without Changing the Sky

Batwoman rejected Green Arrow’s help despite temporary blindness, while Su Ming’s team captured H’el and prepared to deprive New Krypton’s inhabitants of their powers. Before the plan could proceed, the Yellow Sun transformed into the humanoid Kryptonian God Rao, who appeared before them.

  • Batwoman told Green Arrow that Gotham was hers to protect and left the House of Mystery to wait for Constantine, despite being temporarily blind from the antidote.
  • Su Ming’s team overwhelmed H’el with Kryptonite and knocked him unconscious after he demanded death.
  • Su Ming contacted Sepulk and ordered her to replace New Krypton’s Yellow Sun with a red one or extinguish it, hoping to remove the Kryptonians’ powers.
  • The Yellow Sun stretched into a humanoid shape and blazed so brightly that Bobo could not look at it.
  • Su Ming identified the transformed sun as the Kryptonian God Rao and wondered why so many Kryptonians had recently become mentally unstable.

Ch. 4398Constant Urging

Su Ming realized Rao had transformed into a Yellow Sun to empower the Kryptonians and possibly seize control of Heaven and Hell. He left his companions under Shazam’s protection and prepared to confront Rao in space with an enormous Kryptonite weapon.

  • Su Ming identified the golden figure as Rao and suspected he intended to become the god of all living beings.
  • Rao drew closer to New Krypton, boiling the sea and setting exposed buildings on fire while energizing the Kryptonians.
  • Su Ming told Shazam to protect the group and left the Cloak of Levitation behind to guard them.
  • Su Ming flew into space and had the Adjutant use Pym Particles to enlarge his Kryptonite into a colossal pitchfork.

Ch. 4399Everyone Was Playing a Part

Su Ming confronted Rao in space, using an enlarged Kryptonite spike to wound him and then pretending to accept his promise to save the universe. Rao revealed that he intended to return the Multiverse to a timeless state, and Su Ming ended the exchange by turning his approving thumbs-up into a thumbs-down.

  • Su Ming enlarged a Kryptonite spike and stabbed Rao's descending hand, forcing Rao to recoil in pain.
  • Rao stopped and told Su Ming that he intended to save the universe, claiming it had been forged from Dark Matter and was wrong from the beginning.
  • Rao transformed into a white-robed, bearded figure and offered to make humans his children as he changed the universe's future.
  • Su Ming feigned confusion and asked Rao to explain what he meant by making everything begin again.
  • Rao explained that he wanted to return everything to zero, holding the Multiverse in a timeless state with himself as its sole God.
  • Su Ming praised Rao, then turned his thumbs-up downward while Rao continued smiling.

Ch. 4400The Dagger Is Revealed

Su Ming defeated Rao by exploiting his weakness to Kryptonite, then pretended to be exhausted as Shazam arrived. He revealed the Owl Dagger and repeatedly stabbed Shazam, leaving his true allegiance and the reason for the attack unresolved.

  • Su Ming secretly launched a giant Kryptonite spike at Rao, wounding him and revealing his hostile intentions.
  • Su Ming unleashed his Black Sun, had the Masters of the Council of the Sky seal space and time, and fought Rao inside a Mirror Dimension.
  • Rao tried to freeze the sealed space, inhaled Kryptonite dust, and died after coughing up blood.
  • Su Ming lifted the spacetime seal and greeted Shazam, who flew over to congratulate and support him.
  • Su Ming bit off his own tongue, pulled out the Owl Dagger, and stabbed Shazam repeatedly.

Ch. 4401The Truth Behind It All

Su Ming defeated Old Six, an alternate Deathstroke who had used advanced Illusion Magic to try to take his place, and ensured Death destroyed his soul. Back on New Krypton, Su Ming began explaining to his teammates how he had uncovered Old Six’s abilities and outmaneuvered him.

  • Su Ming recognized the dying Old Six as the Deathstroke who had been trying to replace him, then tore off his head despite Bobo’s protest.
  • Su Ming took Old Six’s soul to Death, who reduced it to ash and explained that souls could not fool her.
  • Su Ming returned with his teammates to New Krypton and ordered the Adjutant to turn the Yellow Sun red.
  • Su Ming told his teammates that he had suspected Old Six could observe stories on the Narrative Layer, so he used Strangle’s Somatic Cells to think on another level and deceive him.
  • Su Ming began recounting how he used a better dagger to defeat Old Six.

Ch. 4402Double-Layered Scheme

Su Ming explained how Old Six Deathstroke had impersonated Rao and used an illusion to trap him, then revealed how he had anticipated the attack and defeated him. The team prepared to deal with the wounded Old Six and investigate the remaining clues behind the Zeroing Plan.

  • Su Ming deduced that Rao had died and Van-Zee had impersonated him to rule New Krypton, while Old Six had used the deception for his own scheme.
  • Su Ming explained that Old Six had captured Van-Zee, staged evidence of his disappearance, and manipulated events to draw Su Ming to New Krypton.
  • Su Ming concluded that Old Six had planted a mental illusion through Shazam while Su Ming linked the team's minds with Strangle.
  • Su Ming revealed that he had prepared backup plans through Strangle and escaped the illusion by having it bite off his tongue.
  • Su Ming killed Old Six after breaking free of the mind control, then ordered that his soul be destroyed.

Ch. 4403Dead Memories Suddenly Strike

Su Ming learned Old Six’s memories and discovered that he had impersonated Rao while plotting to take Su Ming’s body. With the real Van-Zee lost in the Unlight Sea, the team used Old Six’s memories to help the Kryptonians and left the search to others.

  • Su Ming explained that either Old Six or Van-Zee had created the Yellow Sun and impersonated Rao.
  • Su Ming said the Kryptonians could be won over by giving them a living Van-Zee, and Adjutant requested a reference for the mold.
  • Su Ming revealed Old Six’s head and had Strangle consume it to retrieve his memories.
  • Su Ming learned that Old Six was a dark alternate version of himself who had sought to take over his body.
  • Su Ming told the team that the real Van-Zee had been teleported into the Unlight Sea, while Bobo declined to search for him.

Ch. 4404Throwing Up His Hands

After killing Old Six, Su Ming looted his equipment and burned his corpse to prevent anyone from using it. Back at Sepulk, he briefed the team on the three remaining forces of My Lord and asked them to choose their next target.

  • Su Ming discussed Old Six's fate with Strangle, then set his corpse alight on a rocky platform above the sea.
  • The Van-Zee Synthezoid helped the Kryptonians resolve their misunderstanding with the House of Zod and organize post-flood relief.
  • Su Ming and his team returned to Sepulk, where he explained that the remaining targets were Kell Mossa, the Old Gods represented by Zeus, and Blank.
  • Su Ming told the team that Blank's identity remained unknown and that its representative had only appeared as an untraceable voice in Old Six's memories.
