Chapter Summaries

Constantine trapped an invisible monster inside a Violet Light Formation with Deathstroke’s killers, forcing them to fight it in a cramped arena. The monster killed Ghostface and injured Jason and Mike as Leatherface used flour to reveal its shape, while the Adjutant questioned Constantine’s motives.

• The Adjutant stopped Constantine from bringing Superboy-Prime and his companions into the fight, and Constantine ordered Leatherface to open the door.
• The invisible monster entered, and Constantine trapped it with five killers inside the Violet Light Formation.
• Jason and Mike repeatedly attacked the unseen creature while Leatherface scattered flour to reveal its doglike form.
• The monster impaled Mike and killed Ghostface, who pointed toward Zha Kang as he died.

Constantine investigated the Transparent Monster while the Farmer Squad fought it inside the Violet Light Formation. He identified it as a Void monster controlled by the Gods of Oblivion and prepared a possible way to counter its mind-reading lure.

• Constantine told the Adjutant that the monster read minds and gained traits from everyone nearby.

Harley and Little Superman discussed the Editorial Department and the strange state of their story while Luthor searched for information about Pralaya. Luthor found a Stone Tablet, and Chief volunteered to translate it.

• Su Ming, Deathstroke, Bobo, Hermione, and Enchantress relaxed on the road while discussing wilderness survival and rabbit meat.
