Xiao Tian and Di Yao followed a medicine seller’s directions into Fire Province to search for the Azure Lotus Core Flame. They found the flame and a powerful Earth Divine Lotus, then collected the treasures and left their companion protected on the surface.

• Xiao Tian and Di Yao bought the Earth Azure Lotus from a medicine seller and paid him a thousand spirit jades to guide them to the place where he had found it.
• Xiao Tian’s Water Baby body protected Nie Yiyi with a formation while Xiao Tian and Di Yao entered the earth veins in search of the Azure Lotus Core Flame.
• Xiao Tian and Di Yao spotted a skeletal figure surrounded by ghost flames but avoided provoking it and continued toward the source of groundwater.
• Xiao Tian and Di Yao discovered an underground cavern containing an Earth Divine Lotus, pools of Earth Spirit Milk and Earth Divine Liquid, and the Azure Lotus Core Flame.
• Di Yao took the flame, lotus, and some of the liquids into her Golden Immortal Palace, while Xiao Tian drew over dragon veins to nurture a new Earth Stone Lotus.

Xiao Tian continued building his strength and arranging matters across the Lower and Upper Realms while searching for immortal flames. His Seventh Brother's Clone reunited with Witch Bai Qian, who agreed to help him find Yue Chan so Xiao Tian could locate Shi Hao.
