The Straw Hats helped Vivi stop Crocodile’s plot, defeated Baroque Works, and welcomed Robin aboard before sailing on. After parting from Vivi, they encountered the Seven-Colored Mist and reached Ruluka Island, where the Rainbow Mist appeared again.

• Moonlight rejoined the Going Merry, and Chopper accepted Luffy’s invitation to become the crew’s doctor before they traveled across the desert toward Yuba.
• The Straw Hats learned that Crocodile was behind Alabasta’s unrest, escaped his Seastone cage at Rainbase, and confronted him as his plan threatened the kingdom.
• Moonlight fought Crocodile and rescued Nami, while Luffy defeated Crocodile and Robin revealed the Poneglyph’s history to King Cobra before accepting Moonlight’s invitation to join the crew.
• The crew learned that Pell had carried the bomb away from the plaza, received new bounties, and asked Vivi to sail with them, but she chose to remain in Alabasta.
• Moonlight and Bon Clay held off Hina’s Marines while Vivi said farewell to the Straw Hats, who answered with their X marks before sailing away with Robin.
• After peaceful days at sea, the Straw Hats encountered the Seven-Colored Mist, turned away, and discovered an island when the mist dispersed at sunrise.
• On Ruluka Island, Moonlight defeated Rick, Nami gave his money to the villagers, and they warned the crew about Mayor Wetton and Rainbow Tower as the Rainbow Mist returned.

The Straw Hats reached Skypiea, where Moonlight battled Enel while Luffy and the Shandians fought to save the island and recover the Golden Bell. After the bell rang and the Shandians and Skypieans made peace, the crew left with stolen gold and plunged toward the sea below.

• Moonlight defeated Wetton on Ruluka Island as the Rainbow Mist reappeared, and the Straw Hats escaped the mist before discovering a wreck and setting course for Jaya.
• On Jaya, Moonlight confronted the Blackbeard Pirates and Bellamy, while the crew met Mont Blanc Cricket and learned how to reach Skypiea.
• Moonlight destroyed Blackbeard’s ship as the Straw Hats rode the skyward current, then helped them reach the White Sea and meet Conis and Pagaya.
• An Express Lobster carried the Going Merry to the Sacrificial Altar, and Moonlight and Robin explored Upper Yard as Enel’s priests and the Shandians moved against them.
• Moonlight defeated Enel’s priests and battled Enel, while Enel prepared to destroy Skypiea and Luffy’s group joined the fight.
• Luffy fought Enel and proved immune to his lightning, while Robin deciphered the Poneglyph and Moonlight stopped Enel’s attack on Skypiea.
• Enel fled toward the Endless Earth after the Golden Bell fell, and Moonlight returned it to Shandora, where its ringing brought the Shandians and Skypieans together.
• The Straw Hats stole gold and left Skypiea, then Moonlight used an expanding octopus balloon to slow their fall before the crew jumped from the Going Merry.

The Straw Hats reached Water 7, where Robin left the crew and Moonlight fought to bring her home. After they defeated the Buster Call and lost the Going Merry, Garp arrived and revealed that Luffy’s father was Monkey D. Dragon.

• The Straw Hats escaped G-8 and encountered Aokiji, whose overwhelming power forced Moonlight to fight alone while the crew fled with Robin.
• In Water 7, Moonlight learned that the Going Merry could no longer sail, while Robin appeared to join CP9 and the crew was blamed for Iceberg’s assassination.
• Moonlight confronted CP9 and Lucci, then joined the Straw Hats and Franky Family in pursuing Robin to Enies Lobby during Aqua Laguna.
• Moonlight reached Enies Lobby first, and the reunited Straw Hats declared their intention to rescue Robin after she said she wanted to live and return to sea with them.
• Moonlight held off Aokiji and the Buster Call, allowing the Straw Hats, Robin, and Franky to escape aboard the Going Merry.
• The Going Merry broke apart after carrying the crew to safety, and the Straw Hats gave it a burial at sea before celebrating and helping rebuild Water 7.
• Garp arrived in Water 7, blocked Moonlight as he attacked Luffy, and revealed that Luffy’s father was Monkey D. Dragon.

The Straw Hat Crew gained a new ship and companion, survived battles with the Flag Hunters and Thriller Bark’s forces, and learned Ace had been captured. After reaching the Red Line, they met Camie and Pappagu and confronted the Flying Fish Riders on the way to find a ship coating.

• Garp challenged the Straw Hats at sea, but Franky presented them with the Thousand Sunny, joined the crew, and helped them escape with Coup de Burst.
• Moonlight exposed the Phoenix Pirates’ deception, then fought Don Achino and helped the Phoenix Pirates recover from the Flag Hunters’ attack.
• The crew met Brook in the Demon Sea, and Moonlight confronted the invisible attacker and defeated Ryuma as the Straw Hats explored Thriller Bark.
• Moonlight fought Bartholomew Kuma while Luffy and the others battled Moria, Oars, and the zombie forces, ultimately defeating Moria and stopping Thriller Bark.
• Kuma told Moonlight that Ace had been captured and would be executed, and Luffy set sail while Brook joined the crew after agreeing to visit Laboon.
• At Spa Island, Moonlight rescued Sayu and Lina from Foxy’s crew and cut through Doron’s secret weapon as Brook found a place in the crew through his music.
• The Straw Hats reached the Red Line, and Camie and Pappagu directed them to Sabaody Archipelago to find craftsmen who could coat the Thousand Sunny.
• The crew found Hachi captured by the Flying Fish Riders, and Nami freed him before the riders attacked and Moonlight drove them back, and their iron-masked leader’s face was revealed.
