"I'm freezing, freezing!"
Chen Jue muttered as he briskly rubbed his hands together, trying to dispel the chill that seemed to pierce his very marrow.
He drew a deep breath, and a gentle yet resilient layer of soul power immediately enveloped him, as though he had donned an invisible, warm cloak.
Yet even with this protection, the bone-deep cold of the Far North stubbornly seeped through, making him shiver.
"How am I supposed to find the Snow Empress and the Ice Empress in a place this huge?"
Chen Jue's gaze wandered over the boundless snowfields, and a trace of uncertainty welled up within him.
"Will some kind soul point me in the right direction?"
"Forget it. I'd better keep my feet on the ground and search!"
A moment later, the skies abruptly changed. An unprecedented surge of bitter cold erupted like a raging dragon bursting from the sea, violently tearing through the still air.
In an instant, an ice storm materialized out of nowhere. Fierce winds swept razor-sharp blades of ice across heaven and earth, as though intent on devouring every living thing.
"This power is so strong!"
"It should be coming from one of the Three Great Heavenly Kings of the Far North, but I'm not sure which one. I'll go take a look!"
The Far North, along the east-west direction.
The Titan Snow Demon tribe.
Sensing that bone-piercing, soul-corroding power of extreme cold, the Titan Blood Demon King involuntarily fixed his gaze on the snow tornado raging in the sky, an amused smile curling his lips.
"It seems my innate technique left something inside you yesterday after all!"
Then the Titan Blood Demon King coughed lightly a few times, his chest trembling. An almost imperceptible flicker of pain crossed his face, only to vanish a moment later.
