The most crucial victories were often decided in the simplest, most brutal ways.

"The guests and the directors will each send out a representative to play Rock-Paper-Scissors. Whoever wins takes it all."

"The directors' representative will be the Assistant Director. As for the guests' representative... you still haven't decided?!"
Watching the eight mud-covered figures huddle together for nearly ten minutes, Director Niu sank into thought.
They were just choosing someone to play Rock-Paper-Scissors. Did they really need a whole meeting...?
Most of the guests were vehemently opposed to the deserted island. Their previous experience had left them deeply scarred.
So even something as simple as Rock-Paper-Scissors had to be approached with the utmost caution.
"Rock-Paper-Scissors is all about luck. We need to send out the luckiest person," Qiu Chengye said.
"How exactly are we supposed to judge luck?" Lai Bingxuan asked irritably.
"Easy." Xie Mi borrowed a die from the props crew. "We roll a die. Whoever rolls the highest number is the luckiest."
That sounded reasonable enough, and everyone agreed.
And so began Love Watch's first-ever dice-rolling tournament.
