Xu Cheng rescued Ma Xiaotao, uncovered the divine scheme surrounding Wang Dong and the Auspicious Beast, and formed an alliance with Di Tian. The group then entered the poisoned depths of Sunset Forest, where Tang Ya took the ancient poison into herself and asked Xu Cheng to restore the Tang Sect.

• Tang San left Tie Niu’s home for the Sun Moon Empire, while Fan Yu pressed Yan Shaozhe to expand Shrek’s exchange-student roster.
• Vina punished Tang San for deceiving Tie Niu’s family, while Xu Cheng investigated Zhang Lexuan’s possible ties to the Xu family and Tang Ya accepted Tang Wen as her master.
• Ma Xiaotao was abducted by the Holy Spirit Cult, and Zhang Lexuan agreed to go to the Sun Moon Empire to find her and investigate the earlier Star Dou Great Forest tragedy.

The arc ended with Ju Zi disrupting Star Luo’s supply lines, Tang San searching Sunset Forest for herbs, and Xu Cheng openly claiming Zhang Lexuan as his wife.

• Xu Cheng revived the Tang Sect, destroyed the poisonous flowers in Sunset Forest, awakened his double pupils, and helped restore the forest by breaking Tang San’s energy-draining formation.
• Xu Cheng expanded the Sun Moon Empire’s military strength and uncovered weapons smuggling, while Ju Zi took command of a mecha battalion and Ma Xiaotao and Chen Zifeng chose to remain with the empire.
• Wang Dong defied Zhou Yi and Tang San, while Zhou Yi’s harsh training and alleged history of harming students fueled growing opposition among the Shrek exchange students.

Xu Cheng strengthened his influence while exposing the truth of Tang San’s past, and Dai Hao launched a rebellion that drew neighboring powers into the White Tiger Province. The arc ended with Xu Cheng preparing Mingde Hall for the coming conflict as Shrek plotted to bring Zhang Lexuan back.
