The cultivators of the Primeval Ancient Realm and the Immortal Domain on the battlefield received an enormous boost to their morale. They had a terrifying harbinger of death on their side! Though many had never seen his true face, he was absolutely ruthless!
"Fellow Daoist, do you know this Extreme Dao Supreme's name?" a cultivator of the ancient realm asked an Immortal Domain cultivator beside him.
"I'm not sure either. I've never heard of him. All I know is that he came with True Immortal Firefeather, and apparently he used to be a cultivator of your ancient realm," an elderly Supreme from the Immortal Domain said.
Indeed, they had never even heard the name Qin Feng. He had no reputation whatsoever in the Immortal Domain. That shouldn't have been the case!
With the strength he had displayed, he had killed dozens of enemy Supremes on the battlefield, leaving their Extreme Dao Supremes utterly helpless.
An expert of that caliber shouldn't have been completely unknown. And just what was the Precious Technique he used? Was it a special ability of his, or some other extraordinary power?
Many people on the battlefield made similar inquiries, and most received the same answer: he was an obscure Supreme from the Immortal Domain. Before this, no one had even known he was an Extreme Dao Supreme.
Furthermore, he had been a Supreme of the ancient realm who entered the Immortal Domain over a hundred thousand years ago.
"What? He's one of us?"
"How is that possible? If we had a prodigy like that, the Immortal Kings would certainly have nurtured him properly."
So said the cultivators of the Primeval Ancient Realm.
"Enough idle talk, everyone. Hurry up and kill the enemy. That's what we need to do now. This battle won't end so easily." Just then, another True Immortal flew down from the sky, along with several Supreme-level experts from the Immortal Domain.
At the same time, the Foreign Realm also received reinforcements in the form of fresh Undying Ones and large numbers of Supreme-level experts. The arrival of one or two individuals would not turn the tide of this battle.
The battles at the highest level, between the Undying Kings and the Immortal Kings, were the key to deciding the course of this war. At that moment, within Chaos Space, in the already shattered Chaos Heaven of the Primeval Ancient Realm,
the Immortal Kings from the Immortal Domain and the surviving Quasi-Immortal Kings of the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths engaged the Undying Kings almost simultaneously.
The Foreign Realm dispatched another Extreme Dao Supreme to hunt Qin Feng down, but they still couldn't pin him down. Every time Qin Feng took a potshot, he immediately fled far away, sometimes even crossing several battlefields.
Qin Feng had even left True Immortal Firefeather's territory and ventured deeper, and this campaign of sneak attacks continued for years.
A full four Extreme Dao Supremes trailed behind Qin Feng. Over those years, he had amassed a terrifying record, killing more than a hundred Supreme-level experts from the Foreign Realm.
As for cultivators of lower realms, he might have killed tens of thousands, or perhaps over a hundred thousand. In any case, there were far too many to count.
The four had been pursuing Qin Feng all along, though calling it a pursuit was generous. In truth, they were merely running along behind him.
From beginning to end, Qin Feng had never exchanged a single blow with them. They hadn't even come face-to-face.
"Everyone, we can't keep going like this," one of the Foreign Realm's Extreme Dao Supremes said, coming to a halt.
"Exactly. This can't go on. Numbers alone won't help us deal with this fellow. His methods are far too uncanny."
"We've asked the people nearby, too. None of them saw anything."
"How could they have seen him? Everyone who did is dead," another Extreme Dao Supreme from the Foreign Realm said with a sigh.
They were on the verge of despair. Never had they encountered anyone at the Extreme Dao Supreme level who was so utterly shameless.
"I suspect he has some special means that cultivators in the Human Dao Domain cannot detect. We'll have to call in an Undying One," one of the Foreign Realm's Extreme Dao Supremes said.
The others exchanged glances, then sighed helplessly and nodded.
Someone had suggested this before, but they had rejected it. Failing to catch him even when it was four against one was already humiliating enough.
Now, however, they truly had no choice. They simply couldn't catch him. After all these years, they had only managed to learn a name: apparently, he was called Qin Feng. Beyond that, they knew nothing.
"Let's do this. We'll split into two groups. You two keep following him. Wherever those strange sneak attacks occur, head over there and do your best not to let him shake you off.
"I'll go bring an Undying One. Once an Undying One arrives, we'll definitely be able to kill him."
"All right. That's settled."
The four Extreme Dao Supremes nodded to one another, then split into two groups. One continued following Qin Feng, while the other two went to seek an Undying One.
Meanwhile, Qin Feng was still on the battlefield, unaware that an Undying One would soon be coming to take care of him.
He had killed many people over the years. More than a hundred Supreme corpses were piled inside Chaos Space. As Chaos Space absorbed those corpses over the years, it had grown once again and was now the size of a city.
It was now better concealed, and the area within which he could relocate instantaneously was larger as well.
This space moved with his physical body and occupied a particular location. As long as his target was within a certain range, he could launch a sneak attack without being seen by anyone else.
But whenever he wanted to leave, his physical body had to emerge into the outside world before he could move elsewhere.
Over the years, he had hidden with the utmost care, absolutely refusing to meet the enemy's Extreme Dao Supremes face-to-face, all to keep his trump card concealed.
If I'd discovered this sooner, I would've started hunting Supreme-level experts long ago.
I wonder what would happen if I fed a True Immortal or an Undying One to my Chaos Space.
Just as Qin Feng was about to search for his next battlefield, a gleam of golden light in the distance suddenly caught his eye.
It came from a star region shrouded in darkness, where hundreds of Foreign Realm cultivators were besieging a ravaged ancient life-bearing star. He could faintly make out beings of the Primeval Ancient Realm desperately resisting on its surface. By now, more than half of them had been killed or wounded, leaving only two figures struggling to hold on.
One was the Phoenix Maiden, cloaked in five-colored radiance. The other was the Lunar Jade Rabbit, who looked like a little girl.
Among the Foreign Realm cultivators, one slender figure stood out.
She was a Foreign Realm cultivator who looked like a girl of only fifteen or sixteen, with features as exquisite as a porcelain doll's and long golden hair streaming through the void.
She wore a suit of armor as black as ink. Her face was coldly beautiful, and a cruel smile lingered at the corner of her lips.
But what truly drew Qin Feng's attention was her right arm.
A golden spear was taking shape along that slender arm!
The spear was golden from end to end, as though condensed from pure light. Profound patterns flowed across its shaft, and the aura it radiated made even Qin Feng feel a hint of danger.
It was the projection of an unparalleled divine spear.
"Tremble before the great An Lan Clan, mortals."
