"The An Lan Clan!"
The moment he heard that name, Qin Feng's pupils contracted slightly as he hid within the chaos space.
In the Primeval Ancient Realm and the Immortal Domain alike, the name An Lan represented absolute terror and destruction. The Undying King An Lan was one of the Foreign Realm's most savage rulers, a tremendously powerful figure who ranked among the very best of the supreme Undying Kings.
He was also a legendary king of swagger in the original timeline, his classic boasts familiar to everyone.
"Red Edge Spear, Immortal Shield, slaughter every Immortal King and annihilate the Nine Heavens!"
"At the summit of immortals, looking down upon the world-with me, An Lan, there shall be heaven!"
"Come and try your hand! Even if I bear the Heavenly Abyss on my back and must hold up the Primordial Imperial City with one hand, I, An Lan, remain invincible beneath the heavens!"
"Those who chant my true name shall behold eternal life within reincarnation!"
And then there was his most classic line of all: "Yu Tuo, save me!"
When it came to outrageous boasts, An Lan could be called second in the world. What? Why wasn't he first? Because on the far side of the sea, there was an even fiercer king of swagger.
The Cang Emperor, the weakest of the four dark Quasi-Immortal Emperors, had once been the founder of the Heavenly Court-the very first person to establish it!
"A pilgrim, devout and sincere, comes from the far side of the sea, kowtowing with every step, seeking only an audience with me. Why, then, do you arrive bearing killing intent?"
"Fail to bow before an emperor, and your true destiny is already lost. Your name stands upon the Stele of Reincarnation. Kowtow with every step, and half your sins shall be erased upon the road to rebirth, preserving your true spirit!"
Honestly, when it came to outrageous boasts, those two took first and second place! And both were among the less powerful fighters at their respective levels.
Qin Feng didn't even dare think that name in his head. He was only an Extreme Dao Supreme right now, after all, while who was the other man?
One of the sources of the Dark Turmoil, a dark Quasi-Immortal Emperor whose cultivation surpassed his by far more than a hundred and eight thousand miles!
You couldn't even speak the names of experts at the Undying King or Immortal King level, because merely saying their names would allow them to sense it. You could only say their names in broken fragments, or separate the syllables.
As for an Immortal Emperor-level expert, merely letting his true name flash through your mind or calling upon it might awaken him from within the river of time.
Qin Feng suspected that if he thought of that name anywhere outside the chaos space, there was a chance the man would sense him. He absolutely couldn't take that risk.
This young woman had to be a direct descendant of the An Lan Imperial Clan.
Now this was a big fish!
Qin Feng carefully surveyed the surroundings. Two Supremes openly guarded her side, while an Extreme Dao Supreme watched from farther away.
Beside him were also dozens of Escape One Realm cultivators and several hundred other cultivators in the Self-Slash realm.
That was a formidable force, considering that the young woman herself was only in the Void Dao Realm.
Still, she probably wasn't very old-likely under a hundred. As for the two cultivators they had surrounded, they were outstanding talents too. Qin Feng sensed powerful Immortal Seeds within them.
"If you're going to kill us, then do it! What's with all the chatter?" The young woman of the Immortal Phoenix race snorted coldly and laid the immortal zither in her hands across her legs.
"Even if we die fighting, we won't fear you. Don't dream of making us submit." Beside her, the young woman with two rabbit ears wore an equally stubborn expression.
Qin Feng rubbed his chin. This scene felt strangely familiar. Had he seen it somewhere before?
"Hahaha! You've got courage. None of you are to interfere. These two are mine," the blonde young woman said with a cold snort.
Her golden spear thrust out, hurtling straight toward the Phoenix Maiden.
Wherever the spearhead passed, the void collapsed, and even the laws of heaven and earth were torn apart. The power of this thrust far exceeded that of an ordinary Void Dao Realm cultivator. In terms of offensive power, even a Self-Slash realm cultivator would undoubtedly die if struck by it.
The An Lan Clan was powerful. Even clansmen with relatively thin bloodlines bore a golden spear upon their arms as long as they carried An Lan's blood. This was An Lan's weapon, the Red Edge Spear-a symbol of the clan and a powerful secret art.
"Sister, watch out!" the little girl who was the Lunar Jade Rabbit cried, pouring all her strength into activating a small silvery-white shield to block the attack in front of the Phoenix Maiden.
Boom-
The little silver shield shattered on the spot. The little girl spat blood and was sent flying backward. Gritting her teeth, the Phoenix Maiden beat her wings and plucked her zither strings, sweeping out golden light that barely deflected the remaining force of the golden spear.
"Hmm?" The young woman let out a soft exclamation of surprise, seemingly not having expected her two prey to withstand a thrust from her spear.
"Hahaha, interesting. A member of a collateral branch of the Immortal Phoenix race and a little brat from the Lunar Jade Rabbit race. You do have a little ability." An amused smile curled the young woman's lips.
"Unfortunately, you're both going to die today. Dying at my hands is your honor. Bring out every ultimate move you have, then entertain me!"
Watching this, Qin Feng frowned and began to consider the situation. The strongest guardian he could sense in the open appeared to be an Extreme Dao Supreme.
But she belonged to the An Lan Clan, after all. Could an Undying One be guarding her in secret?
Probably not. For a young woman going out to temper herself, two Supremes and one Extreme Dao Supreme were already the limit.
Unless she was an Undying King's own son or daughter, there was no way an Undying One would accompany her. Undying Ones had their dignity too.
Then how should he handle this? Qin Feng immediately considered the potential gains. Killing this girl would yield the least profit.
After killing her, he could indeed make a name for himself on the battlefield, but the Foreign Realm would certainly begin hunting him down. An Undying One might even come after him.
An Undying King might even thrust a spear at him through the void and leave him dead as a doornail.
Leaving now, avoiding entanglement in karma, and continuing to hunt enemies on the battlefield seemed safer. But that was only the middling option.
The best option was to kidnap her. This girl belonged to an imperial clan, so she had to be worth a fortune, and she probably carried plenty of treasures.
Qin Feng reckoned she probably even had top-tier Dao-Joining Immortal Seeds on her. This planet was brimming with spiritual energy; although it lay in ruins, its laws were intact. It had likely once been an Immortal King-level expert's cultivation grounds.
The talents gathered here certainly couldn't have been mediocre. Some had already died, and the only two survivors both possessed top-tier Immortal Seeds. The seeds of the others who had died in battle had probably also fallen into this girl's hands.
Besides, she was a direct descendant of the An Lan Imperial Clan. Bringing her back to the Immortal Domain and holding an auction to sell her wouldn't be bad either. Young man, wouldn't you like a descendant of an Undying King as your slave girl?
Qin Feng felt that, in his upcoming operations, he ought to pay these descendants of Undying Kings a little extra attention and kidnap them one by one.
Whether he auctioned them off or waited for the Foreign Realm to ransom them, it would be a business guaranteed to turn a profit.
This scheme had potential. Qin Feng sneered and moved toward the young woman.
Hahaha! Run along, little sister!
