Zetsu's laughter sounded rather sinister. "But you wouldn't believe anything I said anyway, would you? Never mind..."
Zetsu's figure almost melted into the darkness.
But even with his eyes closed, Madara Uchiha could sense Zetsu's presence.
Madara Uchiha's expression darkened. "Planning to take over my body?"
"Oh my~ Clever for once, Madara." Zetsu laughed cheerfully.
Madara Uchiha gripped a specially made kunai and formed hand seals with one hand.
He couldn't see, but none of this posed a challenge to Madara Uchiha.
Flames appeared out of thin air, as though carving spell markings into the air.
Like a projector's images, those strange inscriptions began to overlap with Zetsu's body.
"The Uzumaki Clan's Sealing Jutsu combined with Fire Release? As expected... no matter which version it is, the Uzumaki Clan should have been wiped out. Sealing Jutsu is always so disgusting."
Zetsu complained as he swiftly retreated.
The flames formed straight lines, displaying strange markings as though calling out to something. Peculiar patterns gradually emerged, dancing in the air.
Zetsu's body began to burn.
"Madara, I don't know how Yanbai bewitched you, but judging by what you're doing now, he must have deceived you, right?"
Flames surrounded Zetsu, but before long, they vanished.
Madara Uchiha remained silent, but his mind immediately recalled what Yanbai had once told him.
Zetsu could not be killed.
Killing a living human only required striking a vital point or causing excessive blood loss.
But those methods wouldn't work on Zetsu.
Zetsu had no physical form to begin with. Losing any part of himself made no difference.
Violence that would kill a human could not erase Zetsu.
Zetsu could only be sealed, never killed!
