Black Zetsu strolled over, his footsteps making soft, dull sounds against the floor.
To Hozuki Gengetsu, those faint footsteps sounded like death itself slowly approaching.

After his last failure, he had prepared plenty of contingencies and kept them all on his person. Unfortunately, none of them were of any use. Against Leaf Dragon's Sealing Jutsu, they had failed utterly.
Black Zetsu approached at an unhurried pace, pressed a hand against Hozuki Gengetsu's forehead, and forced him to look straight into his eyes.
Under Black Zetsu's deliberate pressure, deep cracks appeared in Hozuki Gengetsu's mental defenses. Black Zetsu seized the opportunity to cast the mind-controlling Genjutsu he had once used on Jiraiya-

His voice, gentle yet unquestionable, echoed through the empty room. Hozuki Gengetsu's face contorted with resistance, his body instinctively fighting back as he unconsciously attacked the man holding his life in his hands.
But it was useless. Leaf Dragon brutally suppressed his struggles.
