Early the next morning.
"Your prenatal checkup is today, Sister Xiyue, but I can't go with you. Is it okay if Qin Feng takes you?"
Little Fish had planned to accompany Bai Xiyue to the hospital for her prenatal checkup, but something had come up at the last minute, leaving her no choice but to rope Qin Feng in.
"There's no need. I can go myself. It's not far, and we're VIPs anyway. Don't worry about me having no one with me."
Bai Xiyue put her checkup documents into her bag and casually slung it over her shoulder.
Qin Feng immediately stepped forward, took the bag, and slung it over his own shoulder.
"I have time, so of course I'm taking you. Come on, sweetheart. Let's go."
"Sigh."
Bai Xiyue sighed.
There was nothing she could do. She had really, really wanted to go to her checkup alone.
She wanted to sneak some ice cream. She had finally gotten a chance when Little Fish was too busy to go, only for Qin Feng to tag along instead.
So much for her ice cream.
Even after they sat down in the VIP waiting area, Bai Xiyue was still listless.
"Qin Feng, I want to discuss something with you."
One look at the sly gleam in her eyes told Qin Feng it probably wasn't anything good, but he couldn't bear to turn her down outright.
"What is it?"
"Would you like some ice cream later?"
"No."
"No, you would. Just have one. You eat it, and I'll watch."
"You'll only watch?"
"I'll... just have one tiny bite. Please? You're the best."
Qin Feng was speechless.
"Give me a kiss, and I'll think about it later."
"Mwah!"
Bai Xiyue promptly kissed Qin Feng on the cheek, then urged him to go collect her
