He flung the bodyguard's hand away and snorted disdainfully.
"So the dog can stand on its hind legs and roll over. What's so special about that?"
"The dog hasn't done anything wrong, but if someone has ulterior motives, that's on him!"
Ye Chen's face darkened instantly at those words.
The onlookers also began criticizing Qin Feng.
"Qin Feng, I agree with your point! But saying all he can do is roll over? I won't stand for that. Domi isn't like other dogs!"
"Haven't you heard the saying? Dogs are dogs, Giant Poodles are Giant Poodles, and Domi is Domi. You're so ignorant!"
"Let's be fair. His dog is worth millions, whatever his motives are. If you don't have one and you're just running your mouth, you're pretty much begging for attention!"
"Ye Chen is so devoted, but some people are just jealous. Even if he can't win Jiang Xiaoyu over, you don't stand a chance either!"
Seeing so many people speak up for him, Ye Chen's expression softened considerably.
The corner of Qin Feng's mouth twitched, but he didn't respond.
Ye Chen took his silence as an admission and began to mock him.
"I know you like Xiaoyu too. Seeing me pursue her has made you resentful."
"I can understand that."
"But! You can't just talk about how much you like someone, can you?"
"I'm willing to spend money to bring her favorite dog right to her. What can you do?"
"Can you bring a dog here too? Or are you just a penniless mutt yourself?"
As soon as he finished speaking, laughter broke out in the crowd.

Just then, Jiang Xiaoyu stepped in front of Qin Feng.
"Qin Feng, thank you for helping me out, but I don't want you making that kind of bet with him. He wouldn't dare do anything to me!"
Qin Feng smiled, thinking, Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not just doing this for you. I want the attention too!
"This is between him and me now. I know what I'm doing." Qin Feng turned to Ye Chen. "Deal!"
His gaze was steady and his tone calm. He didn't sound like he was joking at all.
Once again, the onlookers were stunned.
"Qin Feng really is a lunatic, saying something that crazy. Isn't he afraid Ye Chen will get back at him?"
"The thing is, dogs aren't even allowed on campus. Where's he going to get one?"
"Exactly! Even if he finds a dog, so what? An ordinary dog can't compare to Domi."
Ye Chen looked as though he could already see Qin Feng crawling around like a dog, and his grin was positively smug.
A moment later, Ye Chen nodded and said:
"Fine. Everyone here can be the judge. Let's see where you're going to conjure up a dog!"
Qin Feng reached into his pocket and pulled out an egg-sized, red-and-white Poké Ball.
Then, under everyone's astonished gazes, the Poké Ball suddenly expanded to the size of his palm.
Ye Chen looked at the Poké Ball and laughed. "A magic trick? You're going to beat me with that?"

Qin Feng ignored him and addressed the people around them instead.
"Everyone, please get your phones out and record this historic moment!"
They exchanged bewildered glances, then looked back at Qin Feng as though he were insane.
Still, some people did take out their phones. After all, a video of a campus lunatic might just go viral!
The next moment, Qin Feng murmured to himself, "Long time no see, old friend!"
"Come on out, Pikachu."
He tossed the Poké Ball. It split open, and a dazzling burst of golden light erupted from within.
The glow faded.
