At her words, Qin Feng blinked and glanced at the pretty girl helping wash vegetables in the kitchen.
He sighed.

Half an hour later, the food was served.
The five of them sat at the dining table.

Qin Feng picked up a piece of braised fish and put it in his mouth.
"Mmm, not bad. Looks good, smells good, tastes good. I'd give it eighty out of a hundred!"
"I reckon you could easily set up a food stall behind our university. You'd make at least eight hundred to a thousand a day."
Zheng Yujie gave her son a smack. "You little brat, what nonsense are you talking about?"
Bai Xiyue took a bite, too, and her eyes immediately lit up.
"Xiaoyu, you're really good at this!"

Qin Yao opened the door and slipped out of her shoes to change into her indoor pair with practiced ease.
Then she looked up, still bent over changing her shoes.
She visibly froze when she saw the extra people at the table.
Qin Feng held a finger to his lips.
He hoped she could keep her mouth shut.
Unfortunately, Qin Yao ignored him completely. She didn't even look at him.
Instead, she looked at Bai Xiyue and Jiang Xiaoyu.
The moment she saw Bai Xiyue, a delighted smile spread across her face, and she blurted out, "Oh! My sister-in-law's here!"
Qin Zhengjun immediately choked. "Cough, cough..."
"Too much soy sauce in the ribs today. Making me cough!"
Zheng Yujie slowly lowered her head, tightening her grip even more.
Bai Xiyue pretended she hadn't heard and kept shoveling food into her mouth!
