Lin Yi defeated Zero and uncovered the Thaliga Family’s attack on Liyue, then investigated the demonic energy threatening the coast. After Beidou rescued him, Lin Yi confronted The Knave aboard the Crux, where a maelstrom swept him into the sea.

• Lin Yi rejected Duo Jie’s demand for a personal welcome, and Zhang Da and Wang Xiao humiliated the Thaliga delegation while Xiangling charged them nearly ten million Mora.
• Duo Jie freed Zero from the ship’s hold, and Zero attacked Lin Yi near the Jade Chamber before Lin Yi defeated him and returned badly wounded.
• Ningguang treated Lin Yi as he recovered, and Lin Yi discovered his breakthrough quests were complete before confronting merchants protesting in Liyue Harbor.
• Lin Yi sensed Zero spreading sinister energy through the crowd, restored the people’s reason, and exposed the Thaliga Family’s concealed warship and Zero’s involvement.
• Lin Yi defeated Zero again and made him submit, then joined Ningguang in preparing Liyue for a powerful demonic presence near the coast.
• Lin Yi searched the Sea of Clouds, lost his Geo Ring amid magnetic interference, and fell until Beidou and the Crux Fleet rescued him.
• Lin Yi and Beidou investigated the sea’s strange whirlpools, but The Knave revealed herself as a mechanical puppet and turned rescued passengers against them.
• Lin Yi fought The Knave while Beidou protected the Crux’s crew, but a maelstrom trapped the ship and a massive wave knocked Lin Yi into the sea.

Lin Yi battled Osial’s vessels and searched the depths for a way to escape the Strangling Vortex, with Meichuan Kuzi as his guide. Their journey led through dangerous ruins, where Lin Yi gained strange new power and ended up fighting Iga Shingen.

• Lin Yi broke through, fought The Knave with Beidou, and entered the Strangling Vortex alone to confront its demon god’s familiar.
• Lin Yi explored an underwater city, fought Osial’s vessel and the Heaven-Piercing Water Dragon, then defeated Osial’s incarnation in a vision.
• Lin Yi returned to find the Southern Cross Ship trapped by the vortex, rescued by Beidou, and later defeated pirates who attacked the Crux.
• Lin Yi agreed to help Meichuan Kuzi find his missing sister in exchange for learning about a rare material that could dispel the vortex.
• Lin Yi and Meichuan Kuzi crossed the seabed, survived sea monsters and a Ghost Pirate Ship, and entered a cave containing a Khaenri'ah Matrix.
• Lin Yi fought through the Tomb Chamber’s monsters and anomalies, gained a black shell over his right fist, and passed out after touching a mark on a snake.
• Lin Yi drank pale yellow liquid that enhanced him, then fought a masked attacker and discovered he was Iga Shingen, one of the Eight Great Swordsmen.
• Lin Yi used his agility to knock Iga Shingen down, but Iga Shingen repeatedly rose and charged at him.
