During their meeting with Topaz, the group split into two teams. Stelle and March 7th led Yanqing, Bailu, and Qingque to Kliperburg to say hello to Bronya and arrange accommodations at the Goethe Hotel along the way.
Huohuo, meanwhile, followed Topaz and Jiang Yu to Aha's Fragmentum Factory to get the Mirror Holders and Phantylia settled in.
The players' perspective naturally followed Stelle, but Aha's Fragmentum Factory was indeed a new map in this update as well.
The factory had been built in the snowfields, connecting the surface and the underground. Its underground section consisted of several towns that had been among the first to be completely consumed by the Fragmentum.
It was an enormous factory. Although it primarily drove Fragmentum Monsters to work, it also offered a token number of jobs to the people of Belobog.
These were essentially overseer positions, responsible for keeping the Fragmentum Monsters motivated to work, and were generally filled by retired Silvermane Guards veterans.
With other factions joining the venture, Aha's Fragmentum Factory looked different from the Upper District and the Underworld. It was more modern.
Led by Topaz, Jiang Yu and Huohuo carried gourds in their arms as they passed through structures cast in steel, leaped past Virtual Screens, and crossed production lines and residential areas. With the sounds of steel machinery receding behind them, they stepped onto the central lift platform on the surface level of Aha's Fragmentum Factory.
Huohuo hid between Jiang Yu and Topaz, nervously watching the figures around them that looked human but were clearly anything but.
Some wore armor, some were dressed in rags, and some even looked exactly like Hanya and Xueyi!
