Jiang Yu and Stelle did not linger where they were before beginning to explore this maze-like place.
This was nothing unfamiliar to either of them. They had explored a maze together back at Herta Space Station, and their method of exploring was very simple.
As everyone knew, although thinking normally, remembering their route, and finding the real exit were not difficult for Stelle and Jiang Yu, they often chose a more effortless approach.
This was also one of the reasons the Horrific Maze had lost its composure back then: even after pulling out all the stops, it could do nothing to either of them.
The two first picked a few paths at random, but circled back to their starting point.
Immediately afterward, a voice came from somewhere unknown. "Heehee, it seems you've already noticed that the countless paths here form a maze... Huh?"
Yet no sooner had the voice spoken than Jiang Yu narrowed his eyes and turned his head, as though he had pinpointed its direction. Then he raised his leg and kicked a courtyard wall.
The next moment, a tremendous crash rang out as Jiang Yu shattered the courtyard wall with a single kick.
As that distant voice abruptly broke off with a brief cry of surprise, countless clusters of ghostly fire floated eerily behind the wall Jiang Yu had kicked down.
"You little... Taking a shortcut, are you..."
After a brief silence, the voice rang out again, though it sounded as if she were gritting her teeth.
But soon, her attention shifted away from Jiang Yu and onto Stelle.
"Hmm? Hiss... There's a peculiar scent about you. You are..."
The voice paused at this point, then began talking about something else.
"I heard the fallen leaves of Fyxestroll Garden whispering, the flames weeping. They confided in me
