As Jiang Yu's voice rang out, the game camera quickly swung around to focus on him.

The young Sword Immortal from the Xianzhou wore a furious expression.

"Aha damn it! I'll show you cooling! I'll show you cooling!"

Jiang Yu took his anger out on the Frostspawn for absolutely no reason, leaping up and killing it with a plunging strike.

"Huh?" Siberian Duck was stunned by the sudden plunging strike.

[That's fierce!: Shit, that came out of nowhere.]

[Emanator of Aha: Frostspawn: Huh? Are you even human?]

[It's about pride, not steamed buns: Frostspawn: You *** 'Fragmentum profanity,' what did I ever do to you? You just came over and smacked me!]

"Guys, all I can say is that Little Fish must have his reasons for doing this," Siberian Duck said after recovering.

[KUGF South Wind: Frostspawn: Oh, sure, sure! You're handsome, you're noble, you're amazing, and you've got your reasons for hitting me!]

The cutscene wasn't over yet.

On-screen, the Trailblaze squad continued forward and soon discovered a Bud of Erudition on the snowfield.

When Professor Dan Heng couldn't give them an answer, they asked Old Yang.

The sight of everyone huddled together waiting for Old Yang's reply was adorable. Jiang Yu was squeezed into the middle, and seeing all their faces pressed close together made quite a few viewers smile fondly.

After Old Yang replied that it might contain useful information, Jiang Yu kicked off a major battle with a single "Get it."

Siberian Duck then entered combat, and after she won, the game returned to a cutscene.

On-screen, the Trailblaze squad was surrounded by Fragmentum monsters.

Several shots showed how the four of them handled the Fragmentum monsters, before the scene ended with monster corpses littering the ground and the rift closing.

This signified the Trailblaze squad's victory.

The cutscene ended there, giving way to another dialogue sequence. On-screen, Dan Heng, March 7th, and Stelle were all stunned.

Next came the portable heater scene.

"Huh? What did Little Fish pick up that's got everyone so worried...?"

Siberian Duck was deeply curious about this new scene, until Jiang Yu turned around and revealed the restrained Blazing Glory Creation in his arms.

"Okay, okay, okay! He captured a monster alive, huh? No wonder everyone's so worried!"

[Wind Boy Solo Fan: Shit! A portable heater, huh?]

[Danxin Hengjiu: He's a genius!]

[Emanator of Aha: LOL, is that what monsters are for?]

[Little Fish's Sword: Our Xianzhou Little Sword Immortal just has wonderfully creative ideas like that!]

[Ms. Herta Fan Club: Ordinary people encountering Fragmentum monsters: run away. Strong people encountering Fragmentum monsters: fight and defeat them. Little Fish encountering Fragmentum monsters: catch one and see if it's useful!]

[Herrscher of a Thousand: Little Fish knows how to put trash to good use.]

[Aeon of the Hunt-Lan: Huh? I've got someone this talented working for me?]

[Ship's Bridge, Listening to Rain: Blazing Glory Creation: Is nobody really going to speak up for me?]

Siberian Duck glanced at the chat and said, "He's a little Sword Immortal, after all. It's only natural he's smart. Fragmentum monsters? Nah, just toys!"

[Flames Out of Space, Stop Burning: Blazing Glory Creation: I might not be human, but you sure look like Peppy to me.]

The Blazing Glory Creation's plight failed to win it any sympathy from the viewers. It had merely become a source of amusement.

The livestream chat instantly filled with merriment.

In the game.

With Jiang Yu holding the captured Blazing Glory Creation, the four members of the Trailblaze squad huddled together and continued forward.

As they advanced, the blizzard sweeping across the snowfield seemed to ease. They could now see a little farther through the swirling snow.

Suddenly, March 7th raised her hand and pointed. "Hey, look! What's that?"

Everyone followed her finger and saw a mound of snow.

The snow lay flat across the entire snowfield, making a mound like that rather conspicuous. More importantly, the mound was trembling slightly.

The snow mound came up to about Stelle's waist, and its length and width were roughly those of an adult.

The snowfield was freezing, the heavy snow obscured visibility, and, most importantly, countless Fragmentum monsters roamed the area. Under these conditions, it was unlikely anyone would still be exploring the snowfield.

In short, the strange mound was obviously fake. They could immediately rule out someone having frozen to death out here.

The instant they saw it, all four realized someone was definitely hiding inside.

And whoever it was definitely wasn't normal...

After all, what normal person hid like this? If they weren't an idiot, they were probably a bandit.

During the brief two seconds he spent staring blankly, Jiang Yu recalled the game's general storyline.

Although he couldn't quite remember the details, he still remembered the broad course of events and some of the parts he'd found interesting.

If nothing's gone wrong, that should be Sampo in there...

A smile spread across the boy's face.

Uncle Cold Legs is so thoughtful. Isn't this practically home delivery?

After briefly observing the mound, the Trailblaze squad approached the spot where Sampo was hiding.

March 7th stepped forward with a look of disdain and addressed the person inside the mound:

"Hey, stop hiding. You're already shivering from the cold."

There was no response from the snow mound.

"Keeping quiet isn't going to help..."

March 7th felt rather helpless, unsure what else to say.

Stelle narrowed her eyes as well, her gaze growing increasingly disdainful.

"Step aside, March 7th." Dan Heng stepped forward and looked down at the mound. "The best way to deal with someone who thinks covering their ears will hide a ringing bell-is to smash that bell over their head."

With that, Dan Heng summoned his spear, Cloud-Piercer, gave it a casual twirl, and aimed its tip at the mound on the ground.

However, just as Dan Heng was about to thrust downward, Jiang Yu reached out and tugged at the hem of his clothes.

Dan Heng turned back. "What is it?"

Jiang Yu shook his head. "I think we should just leave him alone. Maybe he likes sleeping in the snow? Let's hurry along!"

Dan Heng looked at the mound, then at the slightly reddened tips of Jiang Yu's ears (from the cold), before nodding and putting Cloud-Piercer away.

"All right."

"Let's go, then."

As Stelle spoke, she pointed at a wall not far away that hadn't yet collapsed.

Her tone betrayed nothing, but she could no longer hide the amusement in her golden eyes.

The four members of the Trailblaze squad exchanged glances and silently left.

They went behind the wall and sat down. It was some distance from the mound where Sampo was hiding, but they could still observe it without any trouble.

Holding the Blazing Glory Creation in his arms, Jiang Yu chuckled. "Hehe... I want to see how long he can hold out."

Considering Sampo's suspected status as an Emanator, Jiang Yu deliberately lowered his voice.

March 7th and Stelle nodded as well, crouching behind the wall with only their eyes peeking out to watch the mound.

Dan Heng sighed at the three goofballs, but didn't say anything else.

Whether they smashed the bell directly or waited for it to slowly fall on its own, the result would be the same. In any case, he had no objections.

Dan Heng rummaged through the luggage he'd brought off the train, found a pair of padded earmuffs, and put them on Jiang Yu.

And so, Uncle Cold Legs and the four members of the Trailblaze squad watched each other from afar.

On one side was a snow mound shivering in the biting wind; on the other was a comfortable quartet with a portable heater.
