After Aetherium finished explaining the qualifying rules and announced the official opening of the twentieth Thirty-Three Arenas Hot Sand Festival, everyone began their journey through the challenges.
Following Himeko's suggestion, they split into two groups, since the situation was urgent and time was limited.
There were two routes through the challenges: an acting route and a combat route.
Jiang Yu chose the acting route without hesitation. By using his special techniques for acting cute, he had learned from the staff that the only part of the combat route that could really be considered fun was Little Hanu's Adventure.
But he had already played Little Hanu's Adventure with Stelle back when Sparkle was impersonating Sampo, and they had successfully turned a stealth game into a robbery game.
So at that moment, he had little interest in the combat route.
As another member of the robbery edition of the Hanu Brothers, Stelle felt much the same as Jiang Yu, so she chose the acting route too.
And so, the groups were decided.
Stelle, Jiang Yu, and Firefly, who had already seen Little Hanu's Adventure, headed to the acting venue along with the two Knights who would invariably take Jiang Yu's side, making a group of five.
The remaining three-Himeko, March 7th, and July 7th-headed to the combat venue to play Little Hanu's Adventure.
Before long, both teams entered their respective venues through the Pinball Machines in the Dreamscape.
